I’m so utterly disappointed with how they have dealt with the lockdown bookings.
Superstars (disabled children) have been let down. Their slogan of every child matters is complete rubbish. Most children with additional needs do not live long lives and they may never have the chance to have children of their own to carry on any traditions or experiences, they literally have a few years and this year lapland uk has taken this from them by making sure they don’t matter, all because they wanted to keep as much revenue as possible. All of this is made worse by reading that alot of people who booked superstar tickets don’t even have a child or adult with any additional needs. The whole thing just leaves a very bad taste and i know there’s a pandemic but i can’t help but be upset for my child

Last year the elves at the photo collection station handed out the surprise toy in a cream fabric drawstring bag. You can't see the toy but if your children are curious they might notice that you were handed something. There is a shop in that section so you might be able to make an excuse and say you're just going to pick up the photo, and the children can carry on browsing if they are the right age? You can see them, it's not a large shop.

Honestly, no, not really. I've got a refund on DH's ticket as he's a teacher, but almost want the decision for the rest of us to be decided for us. DTs are 7 and I know we haven't got long until they'll believe, and I also really want them to have something lovely this year, but at the same time I've totally booked a Zoom Santa call for Christmas Eve!

Has anyone received their invitations for Lapland? We had an email AGES ago to say they were on the way but nothing arrived. I emailed a few days ago but no reply so far.

No actually, not yet. When are you due to go though?.. It's normally two weeks before? So if you had a moved date then they probably didn't send them.. I wonder if they are now waiting to see what tier they would be in?

They still haven’t replied to my email from 3 weeks ago. No refund received yet either. Anyone managed to get a refund?

I got one but I had to threaten them with further action in the end. If you can I'd start a chargeback with the bank. There's a group of people on facebook all waiting for refunds who LLUK seem to be ignoring. It's not looking very good for them.

@andadietcoke I went to collect the photo while my husband took the children to exchange spare jingles. Put them straight into my rucksack so they didn't realise at all.

@Laplandhelluk my friend got their refund yesterday, they said refunds would all be done by this week so I'd hold out until Monday if I were you.

I was very vague, I just said "I will take it further if it's not back by x date". They replied instantly saying I would have it back no later than that but amazingly I had all the money (including insurance, p&p and booking fees which they are now not refunding some people) back in my account the next morning. Some customers are still waiting after 3 weeks for their refunds to be processed. It's all over facebook and twitter. They are also deleting comments on their own facebook and apparently blocking some people. It's shady as hell, I'm glad I pushed when I did.

It’s just being dealt with so badly.
How are they choosing who to refund? It is exactly like the way they choose who they would let re book. It’s disgusting they can’t reply to my emails or action my refund but they can send me marketing emails on their ridiculous elflet story
