When do you put your tree/decorations up???

I normally put mine up around mid Dec but im going in to have ds2 around 7th dec and cant decide if i should put them up before i go in or when i come out.
When do you put yours up??

CorrieDale - I don't think you want to put your tree up much earlier than 23 October?!

I do a gradual build of decorations througout Advent. Certain things come out each weekend. The tree, for example, comes out for the 3rd weekend of Advent.

ours will be up by the 1st December :O) will switch our totally tacky outside lights on that evening!

Mid December at the earliest here.

usually 2 week of dec....but i didnt feel Xmassy so last year we put it up on 1st Dec and it felt right and i was allll Xmassy

fifi = put it up on 1st....before u go in to have ds2

I have a slim tree (tiny front room!) with lights and co-ordinating baubels on - no other decorations on it and surprisingly, it looks really great!!

I will put it up (and the stuff over the fire / pictures) in the 1st week of December.

Put yours up before you go - then it is one less thing to do when you are home
