I'm struggling, more because this year has frazzled my brain than because there aren't things I would love....

What are you putting on your list?

@CoronaIsWatching

Liqueur chocolates Emma Bridgewater Chilli's bottle Hercule Poirots Christmas F&M Hamper (present from me to me)
Excellent list!
Isadora2007 · 19/10/2020 22:36

We buy our own presents and enjoy seeing what treats we have chosen. DH and I usually have £100 budget but this year he got an Apple Watch for his birthday so he’s only getting a stocking.
So far I have chosen cosy socks (£7) and an LED noticeboard thing to write lists on (£20) and i am keeping the Perfume that came in the Arran smellies advent calendar (£8/10?) I love Emma Bridgewater mugs so I might get a new one if there is a design I fancy (£20) and I am going to get a new fob watch for work. Oh and I got bargain Swarovski pen from one of the bargain threads which I was keeping for a gift but really like so I may kee that too (£17). Then I will choose a new book and some chocolate.

Newbeginningsnow · 19/10/2020 22:40

@Isadora2007 do you have a link to the notice board please? Is it one of the white ones with the little square tiles?

merryhouse · 19/10/2020 22:43

puzzle books
jigsaw
rhubarb gin
various Baileys
sweets and chocolate
scent (surely eventually someone will buy the Kahaia)
something from Joe Browns

RubyFakeLips · 19/10/2020 23:54

Normally I 'get' a city break for Christmas but instead I'm working on the assumption I'll be hibernating for winter!

New Ottolenghi Book
Clothbound Grimm's Fairytales
Diary
The Good Life Boxset
Jigsaw Pyjamas
Some fancy loungewear
Charbonnel et Walker Coconut Truffles
Candle with one of those spinning gold things above it
Kaffir Lime Tree

kavalkada · 20/10/2020 07:46

Puzzles
Board games
Books
Chocolate
Nice warm pj and fuzzy socks

pinkksugarmouse · 20/10/2020 13:28

Scented candles from a small seller on Etsy
No024 from Eden Perfumes (they match popular perfumes but make them cruelty free and vegan) mine is like Flower from Kenzo. I am almost out.
Pyjamas and bedsocks
A box of the new vegan hotel chocolat chocolates. They are making an effort this year with their vegan range. DH (not vegan) likes hotel chocolat as well so we'll just order together I might get some of their mint hot chocolate to try too.
There's a bonsai growing kit that I also have my eye on.

Ninkanink · 20/10/2020 13:31

A set of three vintage wall plates.

MustBeThin · 20/10/2020 13:46

I'd like the new Dyson long barrels for my air wrap because I have long hair but it seems a bit pointless. I only leave the house for mundane stuff thanks to covid and it doesn't look like that'll change anytime soon.

Other than that
Pjs
Whittards hot chocolate
Chocolates
Kindle voucher
Maybe some teas from bird & blend

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 20/10/2020 19:34

A tactical bag
A tactical watch
Some hair food/leave in moisturiser
Aldi chocolate
A digital mph and gear indicator for my motorbike. Bought a new bike and it's not got either. So easy to see what gear I'm in then Grin
Some tigi dumb blonde shampoo and conditioner. Love the smell.

73kittycat73 · 20/10/2020 19:53

I would like a Sprocket (Is that what they are called? Printers that print out pictures from your phone.) and some flameless candles.

TheLastStarfighter · 20/10/2020 19:54

I’d like to send you a little something - just a small card and item to say “ I care “ ...

If that doesn’t offend you PM me your address and I’ll delete it as soon as I’ve posted to you ..[/quote]
Yes! I would like to do that too.

Could we start a MN Secret Santa?

oo0Tinkerbell0oo · 20/10/2020 20:01

I already have an early Xmas pressie my lovely partner has surprised me with a holiday late next year giving us something we can hopefully look forward to. I would be happy with a card, i went for years with no gifts until i met my partner.

Hopeisnotastrategy · 20/10/2020 20:23

I have so far picked up a couple of these for Christmas presents one probably for us. They are fun and cheerful, and I think we all need a bit of extra cheer this year.

www.marksandspencer.com/c/food-to-order/adventures-in-food/christmas-gin

For myself I'd love a beautiful Georgian wine glass.

Hopeisnotastrategy · 20/10/2020 20:24

"LesLavandes" please buy yourself a gift you would really like, wrap it beautifully and put it away for Christmas. Trust me on this. xxx

byvirtue · 20/10/2020 20:30

We don’t really bother with presents as it all comes out the same pot so I will be buying myself a rebounder and lots of cashmere jumpers on Black Friday.

MrsR87 · 20/10/2020 20:52

I have no idea! My DH went all out last year and really spoiled me. So, I don’t feel like I need much! Also I will have a one month old...no idea what I will really want at that point!

Noflora · 20/10/2020 20:57

Garden plants and compost/manure. I really want nothing else, how to persuade everyone though?

drspouse · 20/10/2020 21:00

A new Kindle Paperwhite.
Bits for my marble run
Yoga kit (cork blocks, maybe a strap)

Unicorners · 20/10/2020 21:03

New straighteners
Chocolate
A couple of new books
A good quality thermos

I love Christmas and I'm really looking forward to it this year. Even if it just ends up being me, partner and kids I am determined to make it cost and fun.

CommanderBurnham · 20/10/2020 21:19

Normally I have trouble but this year I want some money towards a peloton. I'm selling bits on eBay, have cut out on beauty/clothes spends and cancelled a few subscriptions. It will take a while but I'm determined Envy.

IDontMindMarmite · 20/10/2020 21:23

@Noflora I love plants and would love to receive them for Christmas, it's not a good time for most though, right? How do you plan on getting plants as gifts this Christmas? Like, just a Hellebore type thing?

Ah how lovely! Exciting. Hope you're keeping well

Maybe just a lie in and a spa voucher!
