No holiday in October half term as we usually do has meant I've started shopping so much earlier. I will admit I spend a lot on my children. We have no family/friends so buy for nobody else.
Hopefully we can get ideas from each other.

Pop vinyl little shop of horrors which is s7 favourite film. He has asked for a jacket like the dentist (not real leather we are vegan) but I can't find one, if anyone knows of anywhere I would definitely appreciate it.

When exDH was a motorcyclist he wore kevlar including jacket. Its not cheap but it supposed to last longer than animal leather.

I've loved reading this thread, it's really given me some ideas. Just wanted to chip in with my 'lightbulb' moment today, and what I brought for my Dad.

I got him a motion detector night vision camera. So he can (hopefully) catch the fox he has been feeding. I'm thinking he can also set it up indoors and see what the dogs get up too when he's not there.

2x stockings from Asda. Ones a westie that waggles its ears and plays Christmas tunes. The other is a unicorn, also ear waggles, lights up and works its way through a selection of tunes. A bit kitch and may be viewed as tacky but they are a bit of fun and well made. Our stockings have gone awol after having new loft insulation and im not sure if the lovely ones ive found on Etsy would get here in time.

I have ordered DD some new trainers and a sports top. Trainers are for now rather than Christmas. Also bought advent calendars and some more sweets for the kids' stockings.
