No holiday in October half term as we usually do has meant I've started shopping so much earlier. I will admit I spend a lot on my children. We have no family/friends so buy for nobody else.
Hopefully we can get ideas from each other.

Lol surprise glamper. Got it for £80 from selfridges so not too bad.

TrickyD · 26/10/2020 14:15

Exciting trip to the Home Bargains store which only opened last week in our town.

Therefore:
Those candles people go on about
Some little bottles of stuff with which to flavour hot chocolate
Five balls of foil wrapping ribbon 39p
Various grooming and cosmetic bits and pieces for DGS and DGD
Two mini puzzles
Some luminous stars
Also

Three bags of firewood which DH claimed to be very good value
He also bought a black bucket. No idea why as we have plenty of buckets ‘but it was only 99p’.

The shop was very crowded. If we avoided catching anything it will be a miracle.

I had some fun window shopping with MIL today... We both identified items to buy next week/online (due to bulkiness).

Lovemusic33 · 27/10/2020 06:41

Yesterday I went real life Christmas shopping (we are staying in a small city in tier 1). I bought...

From paperchase..
2 rainbow cloud bath bombs
2 squishies
Water melon socks
Glasses case
Erasers

From Typo
3 Christmas tree decorations
A mug with a swear word on it.

From Tiger store...
Balloon animal (for nephew).
Flick animal (for nephew)
Colouring pencils (for nephew)

Lush....
Snow fairy body conditioner
Bath jellies
Baked Alaska soap

Most of these are stocking fillers for dd's and me (I do myself a stocking).

Also found a lovely gift shop (gift co? Or similar) which had loads of nice garden ornaments and fairy houses, might go back there later to get something for my mum but can't decide what, they had a lovely bird house for £30 also they had lots of nice Christmas and Halloween decorations.

I don't have much left to buy, a few relatives and a main present for dd1 (ipad).

OohKittens · 27/10/2020 08:50

An official Moriah Elizabeth hoody for d10
Chuckle vision dvds s13 (he has asd and is obsessed with old bbc programmes)

I love that Ross Kemp Christmas carol!

Plain hoody and tshirt for tie dye kit (dd9)
One night werewolf game (dd14)

Just got to wait for it to arrive and stash it away. Then they’re both done along with things I’ve bought previously 🤞

Holothane · 27/10/2020 15:26

Wherearefoxssocks · 27/10/2020 16:24

Only a spice rack for DP. I usually ban kitchen stuff cos we're overflowing but this will actually save some space, so it's allowed

A drunk kit
Piano and a flute.

Considering buying a sound proof shed to 🤣🤣

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 28/10/2020 15:17

Two hot chocolate melting snowmen (one white, one milk). Dilemma... Stockings or Christmas Eve film?

Snugglesandsmiles25 · 28/10/2020 15:18

Oh that is meant to say a drum kit not a drunk kit !
Although that does sound appealing !!

CleverCatty · 29/10/2020 15:21

Mosaic kit for Christmas wreath - really nice - for DPs.

A decorative dish for DB's inlaws - they like this kind of stuff.

Forgot to say - ordered and bought 3 sets of personalised Christmas decorations - one wooden the other metal for DB, SIL and DNephew, DB's BIL (his DW's DSis) and his DW and 2 DC, and for DB's inlaws too.

They all really loved them but won't see them as I'm London suburbs and they're all Avon for now.
