DD eats, sleeps, breathes gymnastics. She doesn't need anything related to gymnastics at the moment.
She's got lots of make up and now prefers showers over baths so still lots of bath bombs as well.
Outside of gym she likes playing on the trampoline, family walks, drawing (looking at some more arts and crafts things) and slime.
What are you getting your 9-11 year olds?

DD will be 10 just before Christmas.

For bday she is getting an ipod touch (and nothing else because that is such a big present) though I may also get her an oversized hoodie as she really wants one.

For Christmas she is getting a mannequin as she likes making clothes, art and crafts stuff, and Harry Potter lego

Hovercraft and other bits

If you're looking for an 'impact' present size-wise but something which won't be too expensive, I recently got DD a 'Teddy fleece' duvet cover from Matalan (other sellers are available I'm sure!) It was £15 and is her new favourite thing, very soft and snuggly.

Last year dd got a faux fur giant bean bag, a set of different size sketch pads and a set of roller skates for Christmas and birthday combined

This year she has asked for phone and one of those instax cameras.

we got DD a hoverboard last year, which everyone in the family loves. We're getting the kart attachment this year for her. She's 11.

My DD will be 9 and a half at Christmas. I’m finding it quite a tricky age as she still would play with toys and has lots but as the youngest of 3 has no luck of getting her siblings to play with her so I don’t really want to bring any more into the house.

1st year in 5 where there won’t be an LOL Sad

On her list is

A new riding hat
new Le Mieux matchy set for pony
Lego Dots
Switch Lite (I’m still unsure about this)
Beautiful coat from boden
books
Fortnum & Mason honey jar that she’s seen (random!! Grin)
A wicker basket in the shape of a house for all her little animals
Riding socks
Jelly car bunny.

Looking at this list, I guess she is quite a young 9 but I’m quite happy to keep her that way for a little longer

@Aponcetasticchristmastoall where did you get the house shaped basket my daughter would love that. My daughter is the same that she is still very much into toys and I'm happy with that considering some girls in her year 6 class smoke! She collects vintage my little pony.

Glenthebattleostrich · 07/10/2020 06:54

DD is getting -

A camera
Make-up
'blank' clothing she can design with fabric pens and crayons
A doll manakin to design clothes with
Squishmallow teddies
Robux

We have a huge family so will ask everyone to contribute to a phone for her as she will need one for highschool.

@OohKittens it’s this one of the Oliella website. Not cheap but I know she will love it and better than buying tons of plastic that she would look at twice!

I have just remembered that I ordered the treasure x ship from the entertainer. I also have just ordered another 5 wwe figures and a mario xrocker for youngest son.

I'm so envious of all of you with daughters that play with toys. Mine has never know how to!! She still loves imaginary games with friends but she's never known what to do with dolls, Lego etc

Gotten loads of ideas from here. I'm thinking

Crimpers
Laptop (she's asked for this but might not get it, to me a bit pricey for a child gift)
Earrings
Bag
Claires voucher
Oodie
Magazine subscription
Pick n mix
Slime kit
Mini pet world adoption kit klutz
Charlie damelio stuff
(she already has more makeup than me. Half of them pinched of me though. She practices different looks and already does it better than me. Isn't allowed to go out with makeup on though)

Neocore wave A1 is a great wee bluetooth speaker for just over £20. My son brings his out when playing with his mates.
