I haven’t seen any posts about what YOU would like for Christmas, I’m not talking good will to all and pure joy from your children (we all want that). What gifts would you love to actually receive?
I would love a stand mixer and books. I also love personalised gifts that show someone has put effort into thinking of something especially for you.

@lozz22 - I too lost a full-term baby at Christmas 2013. It’s the most horrible thing.

@Krazynights34 Thank you. It truly is horrible. I've had 3 losses on and around Christmas time and one loss 3 days before my OH birthday. My OH will be 54 next so probably our last chance this year

@Lozz22... I’ve hated Christmas for years. I’ve now got my (seriously disabled but very aware and intelligent DD- after many failed attempts). I actually wish she could understand Christmas and get excited (she’s 3 and can now sit unaided, tries to talk, makes her own jokes etc). But I’m going against myself this year and I’m going to try try try to give her something to remember.
I do hope you get your baby. But how about (in the meantime) just making this the best kind of Christmas you and your OH could have together (once you get those babies they take over waaay too much).
Do something you’d never do... drink baileys in your underwear under the tree, but yourselves the best presents..

Buy not but (I think my DH has dis-enabled the word “buy” on my phone (joke)

seriously, I'd like my kids to be happily settled in school, my foot surgery scars to hurt less, and for the guttering to stop leaking so the house wall dries out and I could get the dining room plastered for Christmas lunch
