When do you start buying Christmas presents?

As per title

November.

DD starts writing her list between half term and mid-November. She is a teen now so there is less of “changing her mind” and more of “I have no clue”.

We only buy for us and our parents plus a Secret Santa with friends.

I’ve started last weekend and got nearly everything now on order.

Well, I went Christmas shopping yesterday and came back with nothing as everything I wanted was out of stock. I was even told in some shops that after that lot, no more stock was coming in and I would have to get it online.

They say people need to get buying and save the highstreet, but there needs to be stock. I went prepared to spend about £500 yesterday and spent £2.

Usually end of October/November but I started early this year as due DS2 end of November and want everything bought and wrapped before he arrives.

December. I have 2 of my dcs birthdays in November and 2 nephews and I can’t face dragging out a job that needs to take only a week for any longer than necessary. I think about what I might like to get before then though so I’m usually ready with a list by the time I get around to shopping.
I’m not someone who goes shopping in general though, so I don’t ever go out and see something someone might like and get it to put away.
I love wrapping and usually spread it over a week before Christmas in front of the tree with crap Christmas songs on the telly.
