Neros have you tried signing in/up to Hearst, add it to your basket, then open through TCB?

I did it that way, and got an acknowledgement from TCB.

Oh dear - as I was typing that, I heard a 'pop' in the kitchen. I was defrosting chicken in the microwave and went dashing in thinking I must have put something metal in - nope, something has gone with the plumbing under the sink, hot water gushing and spraying everywhere!! I had to go get DH off a work call to come turn the stop cock off! By the time we got it off, my kitchen floor was under water - think it's all under the cabinets!! Just what we need!

Hope you're all well, I'll catch up on the news shortly, I spent most of the weekend busy outdoors (boating and bringing DD to various necessary shops) and sewing so wasn't online much.

I've had trouble with stuff tracking recently on TCB. They try to blame me, but it's clearly them!

This is my washing line. They're absolutely dripping! I'll put them in the washing machine when some of the water has run off.

It seems to be where the hot water connects to the kitchen tap, which we can isolate while having the mains on, so I can still go for a wee

We've hopefully prevented too much damage - we've got a water sucking vacuum which has sucked up most of what the towels missed, and it doesn't seem to have spread too far. Just cranked up the heating and got the fan blowing at the floor to try and prevent the laminate lifting. Good thing I was home and downstairs!

I've just realised I need to see where a package is - I decided a few weeks ago that I needed to try and read myself to sleep again rather than have the ipad on, so ordered a couple of Mills & Boons (I know, rubbish but guaranteed to send you off!!) as I can't get to a bookshop selling them and they are very slow to arrive.

If you get near any charity shops, Biddy, they usually have loads of Mills & Boons or similar.

That sunflower is my sole survivor from about 40 plants! Bloody slugs

Biddy we went to The Kymin today and the scouts had been there making dens in the woods it was lovely there le sigh . Made me think of you weather was beautiful , had a lovely time in The Kymin, popped into Home Bargains they are really cranking up the Christmas stuff in there

Morning. I've got a course today until Friday 9-5 on zoom. I can feel the headache already.... plus the dc will be home at 3:20 so hopefully they won't disturb me. I also have to get ds fed and to football by 5:35 wish me luck...

That's insane, Wreck. They should've split in up so it was one day at a time. I bet it doesn't last til 5 every day though!

I'm just back from my run. I'm almost down to a 30 minute 5k, which isn't too bad. I can improve from there. Maybe!

I only walked twice, so an improvement on 3 times for the same distance on Friday.

And dd has a piano lesson at 4. Nightmare. I'm hoping it finishes early, I was originally told it was until 4:30. I'm annoyed as there's a one hour lunch break scheduled and as someone who has never taken a lunch break it seems such a waste of time

Morning everyone. Rainy day here. Up early as my car was collected for it's MOT and service. The guy who drives for them lives in the same street as me so wandered along to collect it. Now back in bed as I am exhausted.

We actually have in last night and put the hearing on for an hour at half 7 , we were frozen. Soon too warm though and turned it off. I hate giving in to the heating 🙄

Wreck I feel your pain about the course - I'm on a course about FCA regulations today and tomorrow (luckily they've decided to split a one day course in 2 so it's 9-1 for two days).
It's on zoom but they want cameras on 🙄 so I've had to straighten my hair and put make up on.

Fluffy thanks for the gift ideas for DH. He does a lot of hiking so had most of the gear but I think I'm going to pick up some extra socks and the books you mentioned. Am considering some quick dry underwear too as he goes away every year on a trip where they do a few days of hiking.

Going to get myself a cuppa and get ready to start the course now....

Crazy I have no make up on and am in my kitchen also my hair is air dried I don't know anyone doing it so....

Wreck Dh has a zoom meeting all day too. It's normally a conference that he gets to go to for a few days but cancelled for obvious reasons.
