I usually enjoy these threads but haven't seen one yet this year, what presents were the biggest hits in your house?

17yo DS1: Pocket Operator Synthesizer
12yo DD: Sloth pillow or Luna Lovegood replica wand
10yo DS2: Pokemon Sword for Switch

DS 8 loved the bulletin magnets I got him for his stocking.
DH was impressed with the gift set I for him from The Spicery.

DD6 loved her LeapFrog Rockit. DS2 loved his trains and diggers.

DS 7 also loved the Leapfrog Rockit. Other hits are a long armed soft toy sloth, drakyus dice game, labyrinth and his first CD player.

7 and 4 year olds absolutely love their LCD writing tablets, way more than anything else including the things they asked for

DS,11 loves the dartboard he got. It's a kids safe one...not sharp thankfully as a dart accidentally flew past my head already! But it's been great fun.

Ds(15) got a new phone which he loved, but was also very enamoured with his £4.99 telescopic back scratcher!!

Dd9 has loved Harry Potter lego.
Ds4 has been thrilled with mighty pups plane hq thing

DD 6 loved her Barbie camper van
DD2 loved everything including everybody else’s stuff 🤣

Dd14 - Friends Central Perk Lego & white fluffy jumper from Hollister

12 year old son - customised boxing shorts.
5 year old son - everything!
13 month old daughter - her brother’s football.

Ds 7 - some fake snowballs that Santa has ‘dropped’ on way to deliver presents from the North Pole. He’s spent all day juggling them bless him! After that, probably his new Pokemon game for the switch.

DS (10) Has spent several hours playing with a lock-picking kit.
He’s getting surprisingly good. I hope I’m not setting him up for a life of crime!

Ds1 (9) probably his moon bouncy ball and a wee magic cube that was in his stocking lol
Ds2 (7) rush hour game his aunt got for his brother lol
They both also love their shark spinners and a Bluetooth speaker they got

Got a lot of Lego. He’s already built the Hogwarts Express and the Dr Who set is in progress. He’s loving it.
He also got a battle action Millenium Falcon which he loves.
Miss- the Wow toys golden snitch. It’s rubbish.

DD14 nike t-shirt and sports leggings
DS12 haa SN.liked his presents weel enough on opening but retreated to the familiar since. I think the hits will be some of the books

Ds(9) his new bike and his full protection kit for jump park

@minipie please can I ask which LCD writing tablets did you get? I was vaguely looking for one for Christmas but I couldn’t find any that didn’t have mixed reviews, it’s my daughters birthday in a few weeks so was thinking I could get her one for that.

Biggest hits for the kids were Star Wars Lego, playdoh hairdressers and a football kit!

Then the laptop and X box they got (12 and 8 years old). To be clear they didn’t get both items each!!

@Namedecisions sure, it was these ones. Only had them a day so don’t know how they will last of course but pleased with them so far - and they came with a spare battery (as well as already having one in) which was a nice surprise.
