I usually enjoy these threads but haven't seen one yet this year, what presents were the biggest hits in your house?

17yo DS1: Pocket Operator Synthesizer
12yo DD: Sloth pillow or Luna Lovegood replica wand

DS4 loved the little Lego set he got

Dd2 (4) of her own gifts a cardboard castle from hobbycraft. Big enough to go in (m by m) and you colour it in. (£8 in sale, total bargain!)

Dd1 (17) Her new tablet and a sleepset (eye masks and ear plugs), she's noise and light sensitive.

My biggest hit was a cheap vr headset which apparently is also dd2s favourite)😂 so much so she has called her doll off santa Headset 😂😂😂

DD8 - pack of colouring pens and dolls house
Toddler DS - annoying noisy fisher price smart phone that his uncle got him

The biggest hit for our 8 year old has been a cheap referee card set from his stocking. He loves football but as well as playing loves to "role play" football. He's been issuing us all with red and yellow cards and recording all of our infractions in his notebook for over 24 hours now! (It was 3.99 from Amazon!)

Another hit was the England football shirt. I ordered it from China in early November last year but it still didn't make it in time for Christmas. When it arrived in Jan, it looked too big anyway, so I put it away and promptly forgot it. On Christmas Eve, our son suddenly decided that he really wanted a football shirt from Father Christmas and declared this out loud, wondering if he could hear - which reminded me of the long forgotten shirt. It was hastily wrapped and definitely gave a bit of extra belief to a boy who's been very questioning of the existence of FC this year! Also a very cheap gift (since it isn't genuine - not that an 8 year old cares!)

DS - a box of Lego 2x4 blocks, the standard bricks that are actually surprisingly rare in modern sets. He’s a creative builder and always runs short of these.
