Maxineputyourredshoeson · 23/12/2019 20:07

5 - me, DH, MIL and our two DD’s plus the dog (his first Christmas) and the two cats Xmas Grin

In the morning we will go to my mums to exchange presents.

BusySittingDown · 23/12/2019 20:09

Just me, DH and 2 DDs. Can't wait - I'm bloody sick of other people! Xmas Grin

mamaduckbone · 23/12/2019 20:14

Three for half of it ( dh and 2 dcs) then 10 for the other half ( dh, 2 dcs, mum, dbro, dsis, SIL, 2 nephews, 1 niece.
I like having the balance of both. We are a family who enjoy spending time together but Christmas morning and lunch just with my nearest and dearest is best of all.

Drogonssmile · 23/12/2019 20:15

DH, DS1 (6) and DS2 (3), Dmum whose just had a total hip replacement, DSDad and DCat. I'm cooking. Mum insisted on making something so I let her do the cranberry sauce and starter (smoked salmon terrine)

Can't wait! Xmas Grin

mrsm43s · 23/12/2019 20:21

7 in total - me, DH, DD, DS, DM, DD, and DB.

My parents are elderly (knocking 90) and not in the best of health, so every Christmas that there's all of us is a bonus for me.

We see DMIL, DFIL and DSIL on Boxing Day. I invite them all to join us for Christmas Day itself, but DMIL prefers it this way. She hosts a lovely day on Boxing Day :)

Clearly we're a weird family, where everyone manages to get on, and there's no drama!

Chumblechops · 23/12/2019 20:21

Now just the four of us. Will remember with joy the of hosting of those not with us. Lovely memories and will make more this year.

Makesmilingyourbesthobby · 23/12/2019 20:25

5 in the morning 11 for the rest of the day

Lindy2 · 23/12/2019 20:29

There will be 7 of us plus the cat.

I am hosting. 7 is a good number as far as I'm concerned. We will all fit around the table and I can fit all the food in the oven.

TrashPanda · 23/12/2019 20:34

For most of the day there will be 8 of us. For a couple of hours 5 of the 8 will go and see another 7.

OhamIreally · 23/12/2019 21:23

Just me and DD. Feel a bit sad that this is how Christmas is for us. Still, we're in a hotel somewhere sunny so there will be other people around.

ParkheadParadise · 23/12/2019 21:29

Christmas Morning will be spent with my family (32) + DH Dd,Me all in my sister's house😂😂😂
In the Afternoon (9) in total at Inlaws.

Just 4 of us this year. Can't wait!

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 23/12/2019 22:12

The 5 of us (Me, DH, DD1, DD2 and DS), plus my DM, DF, DMil and DH’s brother. So 9 of us in total. Been that way for many years. Really look forward to it. It’s absolutely no pressure at all. Very relaxed. Everyone gets on. In the evening DD1’s (18) boyfriend might join us for a couple of hours too.

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 23/12/2019 22:18

Christmas eve and morning 5+ 2 dogs - PiL, SiL, DH, DS.
Christmas afternoon 17 + 1 dog - parents, brother, grandad, aunt, her dp, her DC and there oh, uncle his wife and their DC + ohs.

I was hoping for just parents and brother with dh and ds, but DB wanted a big family Christmas.

thegreylady · 23/12/2019 22:34

On the day:
Dh
Ds and ddil
Dd and dsil
Dgs aged 13
Dgs aged 10
I am beyond excited. We have never been all together at Christmas. We are missing dgd aged 20 but she is at university abroad and has exams.

megletthesecond · 23/12/2019 22:37

2 DC's.

ChesterBelloc · 23/12/2019 22:49

17 adults and 26 children in the morning, for manic presents-exchanging: my own family, my parents, my siblings and their husbands, and all the nieces and nephews.

For lunch, mid-afternoon, 13: just our own family, plus parents-in-law and brother-in-law: 5 adults and 8 children.

NeverTwerkNaked · 23/12/2019 22:58

Just 3 of us! And the pets! We are used to very big family Christmases with 10+ people so it will be quite different but I am really looking forward to it. It has been such a busy year, and we are planning to go for a walk then settle down with board games and party food Xmas Smile
