Cornish wafer crackers. I absolutely love them but if I had them all the time I'd be the size of a house so I tell myself they're just a Christmas treat and let myself eat them then.

AgeLikeWine · 13/12/2019 15:02

Pork pie.

I love the stuff but it’s so ridiculously unhealthy that I only allow myself to eat it at Christmas. Because it’s only once a year I can justify treating myself to the very best, Dickinson & Morris from their own shop in Melton Mowbray.

LoonyLunaLoo · 13/12/2019 15:08

Mint jelly 🤤

Newbie1981 · 13/12/2019 15:09

Goldfish crackers
A homemade stuffing that we call, "murderer's stuffing"
Stollen/mince pies but that's because they are only available then.

UndertheCedartree · 13/12/2019 15:33

@jenthelibrarian - I've put those cereals in the kids stockings before!

I've remembered another one - twiglets!

Have sex. Once a year ... appointment is on the calendar and we both look forward to it. My mother always lived by being regular and I agree.

fedup21 · 13/12/2019 16:36

Gonewiththemadness · 13/12/2019 21:11

Guylian chocolates (the ones where you get the fancier ones that aren’t just the horses and there’s a little phantom of the opera one in there!)
Port salut cheese (not sure why I don’t eat that at other other times like other cheeses, but I love it!)
Home made sausage rolls
Champagne and orange juice
A whole cake from our favourite bakery as we don’t like Christmas pudding or Christmas cake
Panettone (sliced and made into sweet french toast with fruit and cream for Boxing Day breakfast)
Ferrero rochers
Mulled cider
Expensive gin
A huge takeaway where I don’t consider the costs but just order whatever the hell we like. (Christmas Eve evening tradition with a Christmas film to save cooking and cleaning).

I’m so excited! It’s been a few years since we’ve had a Christmas the way we wanted it and used to do it! Xmas Grin
