What does your 6 year old daughter actually play with?

Mine has asked for lol dolls and a vtech diary, but she doesn't play with dolls. I'm not sure diary will hold her attention for long.

She plays with her arts and crafts, and reads her books. She also plays with her brothers trains. Dolls and such like - no. She does always ask for them though?

I have got her a couple of lols, arts and crafts, books, a mermaid blanket, and vtech diary.

Am I missing a trick?

I have actually made a purchase based on this thread. An LCD writing tablet. I have added lego (i think she might enjoy it for her 7th birthday), leapfrog globe, and leapfrog rockit lost as contenders for birthday. Thanks

Xmas Smile glad to be of assistance!

Husband has purchased the leapfrog rockit now too. He likes the fact it has no internet connection, and could amuse her on car journeys. I didn't want to spend anymore, but he didn't mind. Done diddly done now.

Sounds a bit like my DD. I've got her a big Melissa and dough loom - hoping shell like it as it's crafty. Not a 'big' gift but a firm favourite here is Hama beads (so so many hama beads 🙄)

Our DD is 5 and I would say she plays with nothing for an extended period. She is a real flitter and nothing seems to really grab her attention.

She much prefers to play mums and dad or build dens with blankets etc.
