Please scroll by if your not into piles, Santa sacks or big Christmas’s as really can’t be doing with the judgey comments

My youngest daughters pile is looking a sparse compared to her sisters and needing something to bulk it out...

In terms of what I have spent she probably has had the most as we have bought her an iPad to open while her sisters open new phones (contracted) and she has the LOL chalet to open/share with my middle DD but because of this I was very wary about what else I spent and now having got it all out and had a look her pile looks very sparse

She will obviously have a stocking and then her Santa sack has...

The James Herriot Treasury
Cross country colours for her and pony
New bedding set
A couple of LOL’s
A water proof jacket with her and pony’s name on
A chilli style water bottle
An owleeze
Riding socks
Maileg Christmas mouse

What can I add and what have I missed?

I don’t want to buy tat and am happy with what I have spent however being 8 and still a big believer in the magic, I’m worried she is going to wonder why her sisters piles are double in size...

I have so far considered a blue tooth microphone (though her big sister is getting a proper one for her January birthday as she has singing lessons and worried it will take away from that)

And the LOL carry case/staff thing which I think could be quite practical for storage as well as fun...

Wondering if anyone has any other ideas that are outside the box, not tat but not overly expensive.

She is an outdoorsy little girl who actually had chickens and a coop and a new shavings fork on her list, 😂 she loves all animals and also has a good imagination and likes making up games with soft toys and little knitted animals my mum makes her.

She also LOVES the dreaded LOL’s but wondering if we have bought her enough of that. I also don’t want to go down the Arts and Crafts route (we have lots) Experience’s or Clothes

Help?!

I have pondered over the camper van for ages but think that would be too much over budget for me to be happy with, as haven’t seen it any lower than £80, it was however on her Santa letter.

Grandparents are buying her a bike which she will be thrilled with as she has asked for a bike for ages that has a basket for her to put her treasures in (mainly snails and blackberries 😂) which it has

DS has got her a girls adventure pack with mini tent/shelter binoculars etc which again she will love.

She has roller skates and have had a look at that thread but I haven’t seen anything that has either jumped out or we don’t/haven’t had in some sort of variation, being the 3rd girl it’s quite tricky!!

What is your budget?

3littlemincemeatpies · 12/12/2019 10:32

Probably around the £25-£35 mark...

If you have room, get a small chicken ark- then when the weather is a bit better some banties- there are some very pretty ones so don't take up as much room.

What about one of the new LOL OMG dolls?

Does she like Frozen?

A hatchimal hatchi-baby

Lego

lifeisgoodagain · 12/12/2019 10:54

Fluffy socks are cheap and useful. I give mine toothbrushes too

3littlemincemeatpies · 12/12/2019 10:55

@averylongtimeago I would absolutely love to and it really would make her Christmas, however DH has said no due to other animals and we do have a fairly small back garden. 😭

@00100001 We have bought her an owleez, it’s on the list. 😊

@AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet the LOL OMG dolls are another thing I have looked at but after having 13 years of succumbing and buying every new craze/doll that come out, all the way back to LaLa Loopsy and Moxie dolls I rather not start an other one. I actually quite like the little LOL dolls, they play and look after them well but moving onto the bigger ones I’d start stressing about where we’d store them!!

00100001 · 12/12/2019 11:03

I'd still consider getting her a cover for her iPad.
You can get all sorts of fun ones.

3littlemincemeatpies · 12/12/2019 11:03

@Trewser haha, it’s ok there had to be one.

She has a new saddle pad within her XC set but unlike her big sis who is daft about the posh pony brands (and does have a Le Mieux saddle pad in her sack) 8 year old not fussed and quite happy to not encourage it!!
