Please scroll by if your not into piles, Santa sacks or big Christmas’s as really can’t be doing with the judgey comments

My youngest daughters pile is looking a sparse compared to her sisters and needing something to bulk it out...

In terms of what I have spent she probably has had the most as we have bought her an iPad to open while her sisters open new phones (contracted) and she has the LOL chalet to open/share with my middle DD but because of this I was very wary about what else I spent and now having got it all out and had a look her pile looks very sparse

She will obviously have a stocking and then her Santa sack has...

The James Herriot Treasury
Cross country colours for her and pony
New bedding set
A couple of LOL’s
A water proof jacket with her and pony’s name on
A chilli style water bottle
An owleeze
Riding socks
Maileg Christmas mouse

What can I add and what have I missed?

I don’t want to buy tat and am happy with what I have spent however being 8 and still a big believer in the magic, I’m worried she is going to wonder why her sisters piles are double in size...

I have so far considered a blue tooth microphone (though her big sister is getting a proper one for her January birthday as she has singing lessons and worried it will take away from that)

And the LOL carry case/staff thing which I think could be quite practical for storage as well as fun...

Wondering if anyone has any other ideas that are outside the box, not tat but not overly expensive.

She is an outdoorsy little girl who actually had chickens and a coop and a new shavings fork on her list, 😂 she loves all animals and also has a good imagination and likes making up games with soft toys and little knitted animals my mum makes her.

She also LOVES the dreaded LOL’s but wondering if we have bought her enough of that. I also don’t want to go down the Arts and Crafts route (we have lots) Experience’s or Clothes

Help?!

Ok, sorry I didn't see your update.

Headphones then?

00100001 · 12/12/2019 11:11

What about board games?

Merrilymerrilymerrily · 12/12/2019 11:12

A cushion with reversible sequins - not too expensive, but will bulk out the pile well?

bloodywhitecat · 12/12/2019 11:12

A bird box with a nest camera?

3littlemincemeatpies · 12/12/2019 11:14

@bloodywhitecat definitely going to google that one, fab idea!!!

Gravitrax
Spirograph
Light up tracing board
Slime kit

All things dd is getting

Drum2018 · 12/12/2019 11:16

I'd go with a cushion too - animal themed.

User478 · 12/12/2019 11:19

A big cushion (you could get one with a picture of her pony on it? Or in her cross country colours?)

A tub trug in her favourite colors?

Do they still make Pony magazine?

Something to display rosettes? Like a big padded pinboard?

What about one of those fishing style jackets so when she goes exploring with the binoculars she can put notepads and pens in the pockets to write down what she has seen and looks like an explorer?

TokenGinger · 12/12/2019 11:25

I hope those hyperlinks worked. LOL pyjamas and a fluffy blanket. I always used to love new pyjamas on Christmas Day and you can't beat a fleecy blanket on the sofa ❤️

3littlemincemeatpies · 12/12/2019 11:37

Ahh you guys are great. 😊

We have bought her some fleece onesies/PJ’s and know MIL has got her a few pairs to put in with her present.

The rosette display thing is a great idea as at the moment all shoved in a drawer or at bottom of box in tack room, definitely another one to add to my list as I have the true tub.

Middle DD getting pony mag subscription from my folks.

New helmet/safety gear for her bike & roller skates?

Books are always good.

Definitely a cover for the iPad.

Strictly1972 · 12/12/2019 18:46

My 8yo dd loves lego & sylvanian families or what about a Fitbit?

mrsdaz · 12/12/2019 18:50

My son wants a go pro so that he can film his adventures outside. You can get cheap ones for about £30.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 12/12/2019 20:31

My 2 age 13 and 10 love jawbreakers (sweets, hard candy) ... B&M have a mega pack for 4.99 as well as a giant jawbreaker and a small packed of mixed jawbreaker both for 1.99 each.

Stompythedinosaur · 12/12/2019 20:35

I'd get a game like Dobble or Labyrinth. Or the pocket microscope from the natural history museum was popular with my 8yo dd last year, as was a rock tumbler. Or stationary, maybe a secret diary.

Drizzzle · 12/12/2019 20:40

A bean bag to sit on

Lalalalalalalalaland · 12/12/2019 20:41

Lalalalalalalalaland · 12/12/2019 20:42

Kangaroo9880 · 12/12/2019 20:46

My 8 year old is getting a stable plate for the door and a new whip as BS have changed their rules to the new bat style whips only and a lot of show centres run their unaffiliated under BS rules. Check out Equibebb products as you can have the whip personalised too and they have brilliant customer service.
