Thank you @TheGriffle for the title. Lots of mole whacking will be going on over Christmas thanks to this thread!

@NotYourHolidayDick
I've put it on the referral thread a few days ago but here is my referral link for Gillette gillette
I think it's 20% off a £15 spend (before subtracting the 20%!) and they have gift sets with 33% off

BigmouseLittlehouse · 03/12/2019 08:11

Hello - could anyone remind me of the site that has presents for grownups that are maths/science themed? It was mentioned a few threads ago but my searching can’t seem to locate it! Many thanks

Grafittiqueen · 03/12/2019 08:33

@BigmouseLittlehouse present indicative?

BigmouseLittlehouse · 03/12/2019 08:35

Thanks @Grafittiqueen!

beadyboo · 03/12/2019 08:49

Many threads ago there was talk of bargain Dr Martens I think. DD10 has just told me how much she would like some DM boots. She’s a UK size 5 already and very much still growing so I really don’t want to spend a fortune as she’ll grow out of them. Can anyone point me in a good direction? Thank you

Chocolateteabag · 03/12/2019 09:04

Did anyone else order the Personalised bag from Gift-Boxed back in September (Thread 2 - 5-6 Sept) and not receive it. It was £6.95 for delivery for the "free" backpack

I paid by Visa Debit & have just called my Bank to request a dispute. They put me through to the Dispute team who have put the money back on my account. It's not a huge amount, but it annoyed me that this company basically ripped lots of people off!

I knew you could get cash back if it was on a credit card, but didn't realise you could do the same for debit card payments too.

I8toys · 03/12/2019 09:25

Bushtucker challenge down to £7.32 at Amazon - bought for the teen and his friends

Quartz Rose Face Roller £4.50 at M&S. Selected beauty gifts 50% off

TheLastQueenOfPop · 03/12/2019 09:45

@beadyboo la redoute have kids dms in their sales and there are often other discount codes floating around too

Rubyroo73 · 03/12/2019 10:22

@ZIGGY911 Good shout - thanks!

ArthurChristmas2 · 03/12/2019 10:24

Is there a discount still valid for Buy a Gift? Only now have I realised I need something!!!

kingat · 03/12/2019 10:28

Would anyone know any deals on orchard toys games? Kicking myself for not buying in Sainsbo toy sale, prices are not moving on amazon and I need 5

MsMiaWallace · 03/12/2019 10:33

Has anyone reviewed a highland gift order or update yet?

soupforbrains · 03/12/2019 10:33

@kingat I don't know if they have any deals but I find that The Entertainer is sometimes more reasonably priced than Amazon for those sorts of games maybe worth a try? I think they have a cyber week sale on here

Hope that helps!

SleeptightDaisy · 03/12/2019 10:47

@kingat the Aldi store near me had some orchard games in last week I can't remember which ones though. It maybe worth checking if you have one near.

SlayingDragons · 03/12/2019 10:49

Advent calendars now majorly reduced in my local Tesco - things like Toblerone/Aero Bliss/After Eight which were £8/£10 now down to £2. Lindt one which was £12 down to £3.75. Ferraro Rocher which was £10 down to £3.

I’ve bought several - not for advent calendars but going to open them and put the sweets in stockings or in a bowl to nibble on - far cheaper way of buying wrapped sweets than even the on-offer boxes

Bellasblankexpression · 03/12/2019 10:49

I didn’t have internet for a week - and I’ve missed out on so many threads Grin

Does anyone have a fat face discount code going spare? I think my catalogues have gone to my
Old address annoyingly (just moved) and usually get one around now

PinkDaydreams · 03/12/2019 11:20

@SlayingDragons what a great idea! I’ve just been into asda and didn’t think to look at the advent calendars. I’ve said this year I’m not buying tubs of sweets but your idea is genius!! Hopefully asda will have some reduced as there’s no tesco within walking distance

1stTimeMama · 03/12/2019 11:27

Massive thank you to @youscumbagyoumaggot for the Switch tip off!

I'd been looking for one for my son, and everywhere had sold out of the bundle I thought he'd like. This one comes with Mario Kart 8, and when you go through to check out, you also get the Labo Vehicle game free too! Brilliant bargain, all for a lower price than the Switch on it's own!

Reastie · 03/12/2019 11:29

Slaying that’s so annoying as I went yesterday to get one and they were only £1 off!

OP posts:
SlayingDragons · 03/12/2019 11:41

Aww - sorry @Reastie

They were just putting them out when I was in. There were absolutely tons of them - esp toblerone, aero bliss & malteser truffles.

retiredand · 03/12/2019 11:44

Going to try and find some cheap advent calendars! Thanks. Anyone seen any cheap North Face stuff? Thanks

SlayingDragons · 03/12/2019 11:55

2x toblerone, 2x aero bliss, Ferrero rocher, Maltesers truffles, After eight
& Lindt - grand total of £18.25!!!

DC are all getting an extra one each (which they totally don’t need but 2 of them have been sick this past week and really could do with a wee pep up, and one has exams starting on Thursday so likewise could do with a wee boost.)

The rest will be opened and split up

youscumbagyoumaggot · 03/12/2019 11:59

@1stTimeMama You're welcome! They had a free LABO first thing this morning but it had been removed when I placed my order, pretty annoying that they're back again now!!

Onesnowballshort · 03/12/2019 12:00

I've (namechanged) sent an email to the Highland Gift co to ask about expected delivery of my order. I'll let you know what I hear. Hampers do sometimes come later as (if you're having it delivered straight to a relative etc) you don't really want it arriving a month before Christmas. Fingers still crossed. I ordered some cheap Lego online recently and I will be absolutely amazed if it actually arrives! So won't be linking them unless it all works out! Shopping in real life today and about to go into Primark - I may be some time Grin
