I bought the insoles speculatively from my cold footed mum, but now they've been cancelled I've been thinking that she'd actually really like them. I think I'll buy now, albeit at a less bargainous price!

Read that you asked for recommendations for Zink paper for your new Sprocket. I have a Sprocket and have discovered that you can use any Zink paper from any manufacturer (Kodak, LG, Canon, Epson and so on) as long as you swap the blue barcoded sheet that is stacked on top of the original HP paper that comes with the Sprocket with the other manufacturers sheet. When you feed a new stack of paper into the printer if you use an HP sheet it makes the printer think it's HP paper you are using even though you aren't. This way you are not tied to rubbish HP Zink paper deals and can take advantage of deals from all the other manufacturers as well. Hope this helps.

Instax- Don’t know whether this price has already been beaten but urban outfitters have a pretty good sale on and then an extra 20% off with code EXTRA20. They have lots of colours of Instax 9 camera for £55, then code takes down to £44 which seems really good ! They also have lots of lovely home stuff in the sale :)

someone was looking for "grassy" perfume-if you are looking for "grass" perfumes- then Balmain Vent Vert is a wonderful (IMO) grassy strawy perfume-the vintage version is a trillion times better than the new formulation but it's still lovely. You won't find it in Perfume Society boxes as they are a bit beholden to new releases and niche markets but you'll find it elsewhere. Otherwise, Library of Fragrance have various grassy scents including "grass" and Petrichor which is lovely. I'm sure Lush do a grass one too, but can't remember the name.

Gah!! Thanks to the person who posted about the Lego train reduction at Argos, as it is one of only 2 things on DS’s wish list, but was just too expensive. However, it is out of stock at every store in a 20 mile radius of us, DP and DPiL!

@BeBesideTheSea Is there not a 'willing to travel' button when you look on the argos website? It'll tell you the nearest store to you that has it. I just tried it on mine and it suggested Guiseley argos near Leeds. That's a 3 hour round trip from where I am though so hardly 'near'

Dd has asked me to get a discounted advent calendar for her to count down to her birthday (on 25th too handily) in a few months. Has anyone seen a good one suitable for a 9 yo? @coffeetofunction I second the Next slipper boots recommendation from @NoSquirrels I always buy mine from Next - have tried a few places but Next ones genuinely are good quality and last. My current ones are about a year and half old and still in good condition.
