Best Crisps

Bit of an odd question but as someone who doesn’t partake in more than the occasional Pringle, are there any crisps out there which are a bit special / unusual? It’s a joking stocking filler for a crisp fan in work as part of secret Santa but I feel a bit stingy sticking a packet of Walkers in! Thanks!

Not the best - but walkers are doing sprout flavour - pack of 6 festive flavours £1 in Sainsbury’s - I think they are an abomination- but friends tell me otherwise!
I’m quite the crisp connoisseur - M&S win every time!

I think novelty crisps sound perfect for a secret santa. Personally, I love tyrrells sweet chilli.

OctoberLovers · 21/11/2019 20:19

Brussel sprout crisps for sure!

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 21/11/2019 21:48

Aldi have some Guiness crisps.

Pom Bears surely Bear

Tyrrells black truffle. Mmm. You can get Japanese teriyaki crisps in some Sainsburys (ok, our one at least).

Copperblack · 21/11/2019 21:52

M&S do Prosecco crisps which taste fizzy - they are fab!

Winterdaysarehere · 21/11/2019 21:54

Sprout crisps are delicious!!

TheArtfulScreamer1 · 21/11/2019 21:55

Asda have some extra special cheese board crisps in we got a packet the other day as my DH is a cheese freak and they were really good.

tryingtocatchthewind · 21/11/2019 21:56

Mmmmm crisps, I’d go Kettlechips. Yum

SomeLikeItTepid · 21/11/2019 21:57

Kettle Chips or Tyrells black truffle 👍

newdeer · 21/11/2019 21:59

Another one here for Tyrell's Black Truffle. DS1 loves them but says everyone else hates them if he takes htem to parties, so they might be a very acquired tatse.

Ronnie27 · 21/11/2019 22:54

Well this is excellent, lots to go on, thank you all very much! Bear

The Prosecco fizzy crisps are actually the only crisp I’ve ever tried and had to spit out... and I’ve eaten wheat crunchies!

AuntieStella · 21/11/2019 23:07

I found a tube of prosecco Pringles (which are going in DH's stocking)

Tesco have festive vegetable crisps (not sure what makes them more Christmassy than other vegetable crisps, though). They've also rebranded smoky bacon as pulled pork.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 22/11/2019 08:40

M&S and tesco finest hand cooked prawn flavoured are my favourite both usually around £1 for a large bag

Lovemusic33 · 22/11/2019 12:00

The Guinness crisps are amazing 😋

Tyrells do some good flavours, including lobster (have only found these once) and feta cheese and pesto.

Frazzlerock · 22/11/2019 12:50

Salt and vinegar Squares are my go to crisps.
Large bag of Sensations roast chicken or sweet Thai chilli if I'm feeling indulgent. I'm also partial to a vegetable crisp - Either Kettle or Tyrells

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 22/11/2019 14:24

I don't normally go a bundle on crisps at all, but the Walkers Sensation Poppadom type which I only discovered this summer, are most exceedingly moreish - the lime and coriander in particular, mango and red chilli also delish. Every time we offer them, they vanish PDQ.

Shannith · 22/11/2019 14:29

Cheesy nil naks. The original ones.

Though that's more of a marriage proposal than secret santa

If anyone knows where to buy them I'll marry them.

Shannith · 22/11/2019 14:30

Nik naks.

golddustwomen · 22/11/2019 14:55

These have been mentioned already however I feel they deserve another one. Tyrells sweet chilli. Bloody lovely!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/11/2019 16:25

KettleChips Black Pepper
or the Lidle ones are good too

Tobebythesea · 22/11/2019 17:07

Tescos are doing spiced ham and cola crisps this year.
