What nice biscuits and chocolates do you have at Christmas? Looking to treat myself as almost done with the Christmas presents already.

this recipe here for 'squashed fly' (gross name!) biscuits is lovely, and feels quite festive to me since i only eat them around xmas time (and they contain cinnamon which seems to be a 'christmassy' spice. you can also buy pre-made ones in tesco (called Garibaldi biscuits) but i have yet to try these x

My favourite Christmas biscuits are the M&S Belgian collection in the gold tin, delicious any time of the day but maybe you're after something fancier.

Always M&S! They just do the best biscuits Grin (I prefer anything with chocolate on!)

MustardScreams · 23/10/2019 04:15

I make sugar cookies and ice them. I’m getting much better and can do quite elaborate designs now. Before they were just one colour Grin

Shop-bought has to be M&S. They’re too good!

Bluewavescrashing · 23/10/2019 04:27

M&S extremely chocolatey biscuits.

Lidl leibkuchen. Tesco ones are rubbish.

I don't know if you mean to buy or bake but this is my favourite recipe for gingerbread men, I make it all year round! www.taste.com.au/recipes/gingerbread-men/3a04ab1d-a84a-424f-800a-7ebcbe92fa09

I found a Martha Stewart white chocolate chip cookie recipe online (I had the measuring cups and had to look up some of the ingredients like ,all purpose flour, and raising agent) but they were the most delicious ever .I might do them this year. M&S shortbread. Those crispy continental ones are on my list and weirdly enough a box of Family Circle biscuits .got from Costco they all stayed crispy right to the end most of the time they get too soft

Anything from Fortnum and Mason but my favourites are the chocolate Macademia Nut biscuits:
