stormsurfer · 24/10/2019 19:41

Thank you @PaddingtonWerewolfHardStare I've ordered one for ExMIL. Always a tricky gift to get!

eatingcheese · 24/10/2019 19:55

torthecatlady · 24/10/2019 20:02

My second anthropologie order has been less successful. I ordered two books, neither book has arrived yet.

Although I've received a delivery note for one of the books and a set of spoons Hmm who would pay £30 for these mini spoons?! Shock

Can’t recall seeing this but this Lego Ninjago dragon is now dirt cheap: www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-UK-70652-Ninjago-Stormbringer/dp/B0765CTSK1/ref=sxin_1_ac_m_rm?ac_md=1-1-bmluamFnbyB0b3lz-ac_d_rm&psc=1&keywords=ninjago&pf_rd_p=660d6a02-045c-45c2-814c-3488d223ce0c&sprefix=ninjago&pd_rd_wg=91fe3&pf_rd_r=8JR53HGF6NNS18MBSYMP&pd_rd_i=B0765CTSK1&pd_rd_w=fsMOp&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1571944670&pd_rd_r=18bfd284-545d-4cd5-84b5-c2a049dca37c

It is an excellent set, loads of features and moveable parts, and amazing price! We paid much more and it was worth it at that price too.

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 24/10/2019 20:20

Anyone noticed the ukuleles in aldi or Lidl? I know they always do them, Dd has just asked for one 🙈

WaitWhatOh · 24/10/2019 20:28

Help! Need trendy(?!) Girls teenager pjs. Not at eye watering prices tho. What IS trendy anymore? Can anyone more with it than me please advise!!

MrsLem · 24/10/2019 20:29

@LetMeLayAmongTheStars they will have brown or pink ones in Aldi on Halloween. My boy has many, he got a lovely one from flying tiger a while ago with flamingoes on it. I also saw a nice decorated one in Waterstones but can't remember the price

torthecatlady · 24/10/2019 20:33

Also Anthropologie's customer service (Facebook chat) is pretty awful! It's like speaking to a robot and sounds like they really don't care at all. Definitely something I'll consider before ordering from them again.

They told me that the book I ordered was out of stock and to return the spoons for a refund. I asked that in future they contact the customer straight away if an item is unavailable instead of causing the inconvenience of returning the incorrect item.

They then changed their mind and told me "to discard the merchandise at my discretion" instead of returning it.

Mini micro deluxe scooter with led wheels £71.96 instead of £89.99 9n John Lewis website .

Namedecisions · 24/10/2019 20:34

I’d be really really grateful if anyone has a £10 off Boden code would be happy to PM me it, I’ve missed out on the last few and it’s making my desire for the kids Christmas outfits that are in my basket even greater!!

Book people have 20% with GOLDEN20, I’ve just bought some bargains form their clearance sale too

tinysnickersaremyfavourite · 24/10/2019 20:34

@VaprousDropProfound
Sent you a message

Mrsfussypants1 · 24/10/2019 20:35

Also the maxi micro deluxe with led wheels (all colours) has 20% off on Jlewis website

RJnomore1 · 24/10/2019 20:46

I’m losing it here.

Totally missed that the hampers were December delivery. That’s fine.

Also could have sworn I placed a second Anthropologie order for the two cups but do I have any trace...

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 24/10/2019 20:47

Thank you @mrslem Smile

Spam88 · 24/10/2019 21:10

Anyone know of a discount code for Little Footprint? Want to get some Lanka Kade dinosaurs and it's the only place I'm aware of that has free postage.

MulberryPeony · 24/10/2019 21:15

@Namedecisions I’ve pm’d you.

MrsLem · 24/10/2019 21:20

@Spam88 I don't know of a regular discount but last year they did a code and I bought loads. Can't remember exactly when it was but not far away from this time last year so might be worth waiting a couple of weeks if you can

wibdib · 24/10/2019 21:21

In Sainsbury’s earlier there were lots of the leftover toys that had been reduced to beyond half off. Typically, the only one on three shelves of well marked down toys was the one thing I would have bought with 60% and more off - a Lego space station which was full price.

Hopefully you can see a pic of one of the shelf units with loads of reductions...

And a few threads ago somebody wanted men’s flaming menswear. The had some men’s Christmas trunks/boxers in a set that had a Santa-hat-wearing flamingos pair and a Santa-hat-wearing cacti pair in... £11 for 3 but currently 25% off.

@Spam88 last yr it was me who shared a code not seen one recently I would advise joining up to the newsletter and having an account as you earn loyalty points too.

Arlos organics do Lanka kade and postage is pretty low on their site

Tias treasures do free delivery but dont stock Lanka yet but do other toys

weebarra · 24/10/2019 21:24

Got the good food Xmas magazine today and they had a page of food baubles!

RJnomore1 · 24/10/2019 21:30

Me again

Does anyone know when there might be another boots points event?

AdamantEve · 24/10/2019 21:32

Has anyone who ordered it received the Leapfrog Garden that was £9 at Amazon from a few threads back? My delivery date kept getting moved back and now it just says they will let me know when it’s in stock...I really want it, it’s the best bargain I’ve had so far this year but I fear it’s not going to be!

UrbanMage · 24/10/2019 21:43

Not at all bargainous @GingerFoxInAT0phat but we have a magimix. It gets used most days. Chops, grates, slices, mixes, has multiple bowls and bloody quiet in comparison to our cheap one from Dunelm that never seemed to chop fine enough. And it's red. I love it.
Perhaps it might be on a black Friday deal or cheap somewhere.
