Thank you @Bluewavescrashing for the thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@GeoffreyAndBungle code SC2 gives a free trial case. You pay £5.95 postage. It's a subscription so cancel before next month if you don't want to continue. Current case is rugby World Cup theme though so may not be suitable if you're buying as a Christmas gift.

GeoffreyAndBungle · 22/10/2019 18:45

Thank you Silver, I'll definitely get one of the next cases! Thanks

Bryna · 22/10/2019 18:51

@LetMeLayAmongTheStars I spoke to someone in our local Halfords today, he said the offer was likely to run until Christmas, however could be pulled earlier if stock levels become very low. It only started last weekend, so I think we're safe for a while!

ReindeerPoop · 22/10/2019 19:13

Those that were looking for heated blankets, I’m sure I saw heated throws on Aldi’s upcoming superbugs... I think on this Thursdays (you can order in advance online)

TheHammaconda · 22/10/2019 19:16

Fatface code is now gone.

ReindeerPoop · 22/10/2019 19:18

Laughing at myself... ALDI superbugs = special buys! Just looked and they’re OOS online but in store from this Thurs heated throws

itwaseverthus · 22/10/2019 19:22

Grin It was me @ReindeerPoop Am always on the look out for superbugs hahahaha. Thanks, will pop over to Aldi website. Now realising I need one for several people with aches and pains.

Chocolateteabag · 22/10/2019 19:48

@Jedstre - Aldi fake Baileys tastes pretty good to me (I haven't done a side by side taste test but I regularly manage to get through a bottle Grin )
@SilverLinings2014 I called Beer52 to cancel and it was v easy - "hello, I would like to cancel my subscription please" "Oh would you like to put it on hold for a month?" , "No thankyou I'd like to cancel it please" "oh alright then"

I think they get plenty of cancellations - if you did get asked why just say "it wasn't appreciated by the receiver" - they can't really argue that one!

TheHammaconda · 22/10/2019 19:52

Is there anyone with access to uni days that would kindly PM me a code for Smashbox? Thank you

JaneyJimplin · 22/10/2019 19:59

My cult beauty box arrived and I think it's great for the price. I'm giving away the huda beauty palette and the ordinary cleanser as Christmas gifts but keeping the rest myself Blush

WisestIsShe · 22/10/2019 20:06

@Reindeerpoop thanks for the heated throw info. That's what I've asked DH for, so I can sit in the garden reading in the winter. I'm so looking forward to it!

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 22/10/2019 20:11

Odd one here... my DS just told me he wants a book about all the religions in the world for Christmas. He is 6. Apparently he really likes RE at school and wants to learn more! Anybody know any books like this that are good for kids? He loves fact books, so maybe there's something like that out there??

VividImagination · 22/10/2019 20:12

Very have 20% off clothing and fashion when you spend £200 or more. Add TREAT4U at the checkout.

LavateLasManos · 22/10/2019 20:18

@TheHammaconda have sent you a PM.

Luxplus · 22/10/2019 20:30

@ Igota My dd1 has this book Welcome to Our World: A Celebration of Children Everywhere! www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1788001370/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HG1RDb9W8MJWJ?tag=mumsnetforu03-21
Perhaps that could be interesting for your ds. Although its not only about religion...

SleeptightDaisy · 22/10/2019 20:36

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts
Dorling Kingsley have some lovely books on religion. I've used for class and school worship in schools. They have lots showing on their website, but I'm sure the book people sell some DK books.

SleeptightDaisy · 22/10/2019 20:39

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 22/10/2019 20:54

Thanks @Luxplus , @SleeptightDaisy and @LostMyRubySlippers - I'm working my way through The Book People right now, and have Welcome to our World and an Usborne book of world religions - hopefully that will do the trick!

onedayatatime73 · 22/10/2019 20:57

Sorry. Beer52 is there a promo code?

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 22/10/2019 20:59

@Billsbill perfect! He loves avengers so just ordered a groot funko keyring Smile

@bryna that’s good news! I will probably get what I’m after in the next fortnight or so but I am living on a shoestring until payday so was hoping the promotion ran for a bit longer Grin

Someaddedsugar · 22/10/2019 21:02

Is there a way to get free delivery from the Entertainer without spending £40? Our nearest store is closed on the only day I can get there so click and collect won’t help and the parcel shop delivery is £3.99!

hoopdeloop · 22/10/2019 21:17

Not quite for Christmas but DH has his birthday at the end of November and has asked for some thermals for hill climbing! Can anyone recommend a make, the more bargainous the better Wink

Bryna · 22/10/2019 21:26

@LetMeLayAmongTheStars SmileThey also have Christmas club so for £10 (I think) deposit you can book your bike, and pay as and when up to a set date. Smile
