Thank you @Bluewavescrashing for the thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Mammyofonlyone · 21/10/2019 01:10

Thx Iggy

Trumpton · 21/10/2019 03:15

So I sent newroundhere a M&S code and she wasn’t able to use it as she was at work. A kind person sent her a replacement.
Her original code was

UQD3-Q3G2-BQM2-8JFW

Please post when it is used . Expires Monday .

Trumpton · 21/10/2019 03:20

No ! She couldn’t get it to work ! Let me check

Ah ! It should have been

UQXL-4ESX-935Z-8JYX

I COPIED THE WRONG LINE ORIGINALLY .

Sorry newroundhere that must have been frustrating!

Now up for grabs .

WaitWhatOh · 21/10/2019 03:39

I really need the power of you Christmas bargaineers- looking for those food shaped Christmas tree decorations you see, like random glittery pizza slices and such like but not at £10 each please HmmShock we are doing a kitsch tree in the kitchen but WOW these things are pricey.... any ideas?

Reastie · 21/10/2019 06:20

WaitWhat my first thought was paper chase but prob not very bargainous. Will keep my eyes peeled.

The Poundshop WaitWhatOh had food baubles last year, as did Asda. The Poundshop was the one with the teal green signs.
They've nothing at the moment, but maybe give them a go after all of the Halloween things have gone?

crustycrab · 21/10/2019 06:35

@VividImagination are you due a new phone before Christmas? DH got ours free when he upgraded last year

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 21/10/2019 06:38

(Tried posting this 3 times, so sorry if they all suddenly show up!)

20% off Disney Shop MAGIC20 not sure if it’s single use but I doubt it - happy shopping!

Kraggle · 21/10/2019 06:59

Thanks cocounts and Isadora I looked at the McDonald’s toys but they’re normally rubbish but might get the Starfire one to see if it’s any good. I also don’t think she’d realise that Barbie style doll is Starfire, she looks quite different in the cartoons.

wibdib · 21/10/2019 07:05

@WaitWhatOh eBay have a string of pizza slice led Christmas tree lights for £3.46 if that would help?
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-LED-Lovely-Pizza-Fairy-String-Light-Hanging-Decor-Party-Indoor-Christmas/312533040323?hash=item48c46bbcc3:g:eRYAAOSwUnJcjxNX

There were also a few cheap donut baubles and some cute cheap donut shaped plastic containers for sweets or presents.

Also remember seeing them in Asda and Poundland last year so would keep an eye out there too.

Does anybody else feel that supermarkets are being quite restrained putting their Christmas stuff out this year? There’s a bit but for once they seem to be waiting for Halloween to be over before going into full blown Christmas mode?

PinkDaydreams · 21/10/2019 07:25

Thank you pp for binocular advice. She’s literally using them to look out of her flat window at the birds, she won’t be taking them out so the binoculars don’t have to be particularly fancy.

Jessica78 · 21/10/2019 07:26

M&S codes attached - none used thus far 🎅

@crustycrab I upgraded my iPhone 4 for a 6 last Christmas so I’m afraid it will have to do me a few years yet. However, he does had adult siblings - perhaps I could make it worth their while! Thanks, I will have a wee search and see what I can come up with.

Has anyone used ShopTo on eBay. That’s the cheapest price I can find for the switch but I’m wary using somewhere new for something so expensive.

Unihorn · 21/10/2019 08:14

Wordery have up to 30% off with code WISHLIST. Think it's 10% off 1, 20% off 2 and 30% off 3. I've just bought How Winston Delivered Christmas for £7 to keep us entertained through December!

MeanMrMustardSeed · 21/10/2019 08:21

Thanks @Jessica78 - I’ve used one of your codes. Have bought two toasted nutmeg candles that a couple of previous posters raved about! Will be putting those away for December.

Usually I can request click and collect the following day but there was a warning up about them being very busy and my first option was Saturday! Absolutely fine for me but shows how busy they are. Wonder if they know it’s partly due to this thread!!

CupCupGoose · 21/10/2019 08:24

@widbid I've been thinking the same. I've not really seen much Christmas stuff in the shops where as normally id see this amount of stuff in about August! By now there'd be loads more.

Coldilox · 21/10/2019 08:30

Had to share these, they are brilliant laughing sock crackers

They are eco friendly plastic free crackers each containing a pair of personalised socks - you can have any photo you like printed on the socks. Not cheap at £19.99 a cracker but you get discounts for ordering multiples, and they’d make a great gift.
