Thank you @BadgerFace for the thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Referral link here . Use this to post any links where you can refer a mner and you or both of you get an incentive. For ease and fairness please don’t post these on the main thread.

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions on doing clicks links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know in bold or @ me Thanks

@Zillaindie that’s perfect thank you! I hadn’t thought to look at package dimensions 👍🏻

Just bought these compression tops from AliExpress for my two football loving sons.
I am always a bit wary when using them but have actually never had a problem with anything I have ordered and they are so cheap they're worth a punt

I'm quite proud of my wrapping although it did take bloody ages! Brown paper 89p a roll from local shop offsets the Cox & Cox fancy ribbon at 10.95 for the gold and black inc postage. Black ribbon reads 'you are very hard to buy for' 😃🎁

friskybivalves · 15/10/2019 10:54

I was posted new M&S codes yesterday but have left them at home ShockHmm. But will put some on thread late this evening and hope will be in time for others still to use.

Jessica78 · 15/10/2019 10:55

I think with the ikea delivery cost it's worth bearing in mind what you'd spend on petrol and coffee and cake there if you were there in person... And the things you'd pick up thta you don't need (speaking from experience as someone who went there yesterday... Blush

I've been sent some M&S codes not valid until the 17th, so I dare say there are more on the way - I'll post mine then x

Tentontessie · 15/10/2019 11:12

I missed the cox and cox offer mentioned up thread- is anyone able to walk me through it- I’ve tried to search the previous thread but can’t find it

KitKatCHA · 15/10/2019 11:14

VTech Myla the Magical Make Up Unicorn reduced on Amazon from £61 to £31.20, free delivery.

Anyone any suggestions for 8 and 7 year old girls? They're my nieces but live In a different country so don't see them often. I have a daughter the same age but she's very different to them it seems. They don't seem to be into any trends as such and aren't allowed to experiment with make up and stuff. Budget is around £25 each but could be made up of smaller things. A few years ago I got them a den kit which went down well.

KitKatCHA · 15/10/2019 11:43

Also the Harry Potter Lego Knight Bus is back down to £26 and the advent calendar is down to £19.19 from £25

Youryour · 15/10/2019 11:48

I've just bought 3 of the spicery sets for £53.35 using a referral code and if you buy 3 you get a extra 20% off on top. So it works out around £17.78 each. Thanks for the recommendation even though I don't know who I'll give them to yetGrin

Has anyone got Myla the makeup unicorn and if so would you recommend it for a nearly 5 year old who loves make up? Thanks

Reastie · 15/10/2019 11:51

Tentontessie go to the referral thread (link in post 1) and there will be lots of people giving a referral link to the cox aand cox site and your first order using that would get you I believe £10 off your first order (but you have to have a min order of something like £20 and pay postage).

@Jessica78 that is so so true.

Sorry if it’s already been mentioned but Oliver Bonas credits £5 to your account upon signing up. There are still a few bits in their sale.

Thaegum dd (8) loves stationary. Think notebooks with sequins on, nice multicolour fineliners, pretty pens, that kind of thing. She once got a personalised pencil case with all the pens etc etched with her name on which she really loved. Stationary seems to be pretty universally liked with all her friends. Somewhere like home bargains or primark would prob be a good bet if you’re looking at value for money or else smiggle or paper chase if you’re feeling flush.

@XmassyMumsy I don't know much about coffee machines but Lidl sell pods compatible with Nespresso. That might save money on an ongoing basis.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 15/10/2019 12:43

I've gone for the spicery deal, hopefully my referral will be used and I can try out one of the kits or, more than likely, add a couple of kits to the gift for my parents to bulk it out as I haven't got as much to spend as normal

ASDA family pyjamas were mentioned previously - they have 2 new family Xmas sets out as well as the ones nobody was impressed by. I've found that their pyjamas wash really nice and last well. May be worth waiting for the 25% off, but sizes may go, you could order now and order again on the 17th if they have what you need and just not collecting the first order
