Thank you @BadgerFace for the thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

TAKE10 code gives an extra 10% off Cath Kidston sale.

Just received an email and the personalised mentoes are on their way! Has anyone received theirs yet?

noodledoodler · 16/10/2019 19:46

@imsorryiasked thank you, I think some of my order could not be paypaled and some could, it ended up being split so I was able to check out part of it. I suppose I will need to put in my credit card details for the rest but its so much like hard work when you are used to paypal lol

livingthegoodlife · 16/10/2019 19:48

If you're looking for stocking fillers - I bought a magic flannel from Wilkos today priced at £2 which scanned at 10p! It was a Cinderella one if you fancy trying your luck!

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 16/10/2019 19:51

If anyone is wanting to buy anything from Neal's Yard, then Yeo Valley are currently running a competition and if you don't win, you get a code for £10 off a £30 spend

Spam88 · 16/10/2019 19:52

Saw on Facebook that a lot of the Chad Valley toys at argos are reduced fo half price (wonder if they're price matching Sainsbury's?) plus the 25% off still works.

Bluewavescrashing · 16/10/2019 19:52

@noodledoodler PayPal is too easy, absolutely! My bank account is evidence for this Blush

PinkJam · 16/10/2019 20:01

@BigEaredBob The National Trust do an adult colouring book of cards and envelopes which might be nice for your SIL. She can colour them in and send them.

RJnomore1 · 16/10/2019 20:15

@Bluewavescrashing my mentors arrived yesterday

Very happy for no cost at all.

Hedgyhoggy · 16/10/2019 20:17

For those that have purchased from The Spicery have you then been able to go on to claim the £5 referral and the 10% off for accepting newsletters stacked together? Or am I being greedy?

CoffeeAndEnnui · 16/10/2019 20:17

@BigEaredBob, House of Crafts do a lovely papermaking kit which Fred Aldous is selling for £11.45 at the moment. The kits usually retail at £16.99-£18.99 so that's a really decent price and postage is reasonable too.

Papermaking is quite a mellow/calming activity and she could use the finished product as materials to decorate her cards so it might work as the dual purpose pressie you were after.

Someaddedsugar · 16/10/2019 20:22

@BigEaredBob check out Crafter’s Companion for loads of crafty bits for card making. They sell a tool to make your own envelope which could be an option?

Trumpton · 16/10/2019 20:26

Codes for M&S gone

Clevererthanyou · 16/10/2019 20:35

shantotto Forgive me if this seems rude/weird but I crochet amigurumi toys as a hobby and if you find a written pattern I'd be delighted to make a toast soft toy for you. I'm currently making a garland of black mini stockings for my fireplace Grin No pressure of course, just a thought!

BigEaredBob · 16/10/2019 20:57

Thank you for all the suggestions!

Those crafting websites are perfect!

DelurkingAJ · 16/10/2019 21:00

lotusbell · 16/10/2019 21:05

Ok, I'm feeling I'm missing out on the gin club, what's the offer?

lotusbell · 16/10/2019 21:27

NDD-AWMA gives you free next day delivery at Seasalt. Code expires beginning of November I think.

Chocolateteabag · 16/10/2019 21:28

@Courtney555 - use one of the referrals on the referral thread and you can get one of their subscriptions for £20 (you subscribe so don't forget to cancel if you don't want to pay £40 ongoing)
The referrer gets £20 of points so you could get a friend to sign up then you can get your next box for £20

You get Gin plus mixers and bits

NotPennysBoat · 16/10/2019 21:31

Just spotted this on Facebook - no idea about the seller or quality but sounds like a great little stocking filler!

Courtney555 · 16/10/2019 21:36

@Chocolateteabag

Thank you Flowers

Just to clarify, I can get one box for £20. Then I can cancel immediately to prevent being tied in to the £40 a month?

Ftumch · 16/10/2019 21:39

£20 off £80 at brandalley "MISS20".

Givealittlebit · 16/10/2019 21:40

Is the spicery gift set just the cookbook and 4 spice mixes? Wondering if it might be worthwhile for my dad and his wife (who are impossible to buy for!)

BadgerFace · 16/10/2019 21:43

My Smafolk surprise bag arrived today and I am so chuffed with it! Thanks again @Luxplus !

3 long sleeved tops, a dress and a skirt so £7 an item. Bargain. Such gorgeously soft cotton too. I hope DD likes the prints too!
