If anyone's doing a Works order and looking for a little something to add to their order they have this mug cakes book that is just £2 and eligible for discounts.

It makes a great present for teenagers and young adults, particularly if you are getting them a mug and even a few bits like choc chips and teeny marshmallows etc.

I gave them out a few years ago as my 'everybody gets' present for a load of 15-30 yr olds along with a nice christmasy mug from Asda for a pound and they went down really well - to the point that I used to get sent pictures of the cakes made sent to me on facebook quite regularly (including some who were students who would have mug cake parties in their halls or lodgings Grin) and some of them also said they'd used it as an idea for giving to their own friends, which I figured meant it was a good present.

This book is a later version than the one that I gave out, but looks ok online and could be useful to give to all sorts of people!

Emma Bridgewater, 15% off & free delivery with code 2019ILED15 no minimum spend. I just bought some gorgeous little penguin and robin tins. I will add my referral code to the appropriate thread if anyone plans on spending £40 or more & wants a free mug.

The very nice man in Hobbycraft said my craft trolley was faulty and immediately gave me a new one which I've built in 10 mins. It's lovely and looks much more expensive than £30! DD wants to use it as a tea and cake trolley when we have guests ☕🎂🙂

Spam88 · 07/10/2019 16:42

A few bits in Asda (disclaimer: I have no idea what the prices are like on these/similar elsewhere):

Play doh ultimate rainbow (40 mini tubs) for £10

Dolls house £20

Vet playset (I think someone was looking for one of these a couple of threads back?) £10

Sylvanian Families village cake shop £25. There was also a massive house I've forgotten the name of for £50.

My phone is playing up and not letting me add photos for some reason so I'll try again later!

@livingthegoodlife, brilliant, thank you I’ll check it out!

Tooner · 07/10/2019 16:53

@PinkDaydreams no they were either in the aisle with the cards and wrapping paper etc.

Tooner · 07/10/2019 16:55

Oops..or the one with the picture frames. Come to think of it, yes it was the one with the frames.

GraceQuirrell · 07/10/2019 17:03

Has anyone seen Paw Patrol Mighty Pups Super Paws Tower cheaper than £99.99? Smyths and Amazon both have it at that price but it just seems so flipping expensive for what it is and yet my 5yr old grandson has been obsessed with it ever since they started advertising it. He has the smaller Paw Patrol tower and plays with that daily and has for about 2 years now but he always wanted the "life size" version which is around the £50-£70 mark but now its all "mighty pups"its the newest one he wants naturally lol

Bluewavescrashing · 07/10/2019 17:16

Also very pleased with the landsend boots I ordered. Only £13.50! (From kids' section but for me... Don't tell DH)

Youvegotafriendinme · 07/10/2019 17:33

@ClosedAuraOpenMind I’m sorry, someone just beat you to it I’m afraid

sleepismysuperpower1 · 07/10/2019 17:39

@GraceQuirrell very have it here for £99.99 but if you sign up for a very account you can get 10% off

sleepismysuperpower1 · 07/10/2019 17:41

would anyone like a code for 10% off Chilly's Bottles, or one for 30% off adidas products? happy to PM them x

AuchAyeTheNo · 07/10/2019 17:48

@NotPennysBoat have you never seen Love Actually?? Of course there is a Christmas octopus! And a freakin lobster 😆

WhereIsThisGoing · 07/10/2019 17:48

Doe anyone have a present idea for a 1 year old with some mobility issues? He sits up well and loves the Vtech puppy, but it "drives" away and he can't (and won't be able to) chase it for a while yet, which just frustrates him. I was thinking maybe something like the Beatbo? Does anyone now if that's any good / alternative suggestions?

Serenity25 · 07/10/2019 17:59

I have a 10% off boden code with free delivery and returns if anyone wants it, code is O5D2.

thaegumathteth · 07/10/2019 18:06

@WhereIsThisGoing does he have one of those ball popping machines? ds and dd both loved theirs (as did the cat!)

RunsForGummyBears · 07/10/2019 18:07

@Helssjbells Sparks hates me, I think. I only have a coupon for 30p off of bakery items 🤷 thanks for the heads up though!

Barbarara · 07/10/2019 18:07

Do decathlon ever do codes?

PinkDaydreams · 07/10/2019 18:32

@wibdib I do like the look of the tesco ones, thank you! I’ve got passport pics already printed that I’d like to do something with which is why I thought of putting them in key rings as presents

CoffeeAndEnnui · 07/10/2019 18:40

@PepsiLola, be cautious with the Tilly and Friends advent, they were pretty badly reviewed on Amazon. Nearly got one for DD's friend (named Tilly) but then saw the feedback. If you do decide to proceed the free delivery makes them £1 cheaper on Amazon although the design is different (same contents).

recklessgran · 07/10/2019 18:46

Oh help! I had no idea that Lakeland had a whole section of stocking fillers. Great for adult stockings and I've got masses of those going on.
[If I don't start sitting on my hands we'll be bankrupt by Christmas!]

Ehunt1 · 07/10/2019 18:46

I got an email from John Lewis with a £5 off code, no minimum spend. It’s TREAT5 so I’m assuming it’s not account specific. The £2 click and collect fee annoys me though!

RenardeRenarde · 07/10/2019 18:48

@ClosedAuraOpenMind I’ve sent you my £10 boden code if it’s any use to you, I don’t have any little people to buy for but the HP stuff looks adorable!
