I bought this for my 9yo DN last year and it was a big hit, she loved filling out all the quizzes about herself, friends and family. £5 on Amazon at the moment so a nice little stocking filler for someone a similar age

@Shakespearesglobe Do you live anywhere near Norwich? They have an outlet here.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 07/10/2019 07:35

@Sizeofalentil I'd recommend looking for a secondhand Sleepyhead. Lots of nearly new ones out there

buckeejit · 07/10/2019 07:43

@RoseyPeas I bought this a few years ago & it's vg

@ratbagcatbag could you post a link of the biscuit tin lady? I'm trying to find it but can't and it sounds perfect for my mum. Thank you

Moopointcowsopinion- a big thank you from me too! I have never heard of that website, but I have three teen boys who are maths, science and music crazy and that site is perfect! Expensive, but perfect!

Ooh thanks @WisestIsShe and @buckeejit.
I obviously need to look around a bit!!

After I posted I found that Lakeland do have black Friday sale, so I might hold off for a while (not easyBlush)

NotYourHolidayDick · 07/10/2019 08:59

Fuck sake, I'm 10 days post payday, am already overdrawn, and have just ordered aqua beads and 9 bloody foundations in a random colour 😂

Foundation wise, I've ordered to be delivered to store. I'm going to collect them, toddle straight to the No7 counter, try the testers and exchange them for the correct colour. They can't accuse them of being stolen as I'd have literally just collected them and not left the store.

I'm a genius.

Tamtam86 · 07/10/2019 09:00

Thanks @noodledoodler I've just ordered one (for myself! Grin)

imsorryiasked · 07/10/2019 09:07

@FluffyAlpaca19 if you search Ebay for "dolls house stairs" you may find some the right length? There are several options (although not specifically for rosebud cottage).

Ewock · 07/10/2019 09:24

Thanks Luxplus I'll have a look

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 07/10/2019 09:46

Free delivery for Molton Brown until midnight tonight.

PowerslidePanda · 07/10/2019 10:13

Tomy Octopals bath toy currently £7.98 on Amazon, down from £12.99. I got one via a Mumsnet product test recently and it quickly became my toddler daughter's favourite bath toy, so it's my go-to product for friends with toddlers this Christmas!

Bellasblankexpression · 07/10/2019 10:29

New look currently has £10 off when you spend £50 and £25 off when you spend £100

Superga also has quite a lot of sale shoes on the website

Aldi has their ambiano food mixers back in (kitchen aid style)

tabbycat985 · 07/10/2019 10:33

Wowcher deals today, not sure how good these prices are but a great gift for someone who has everything.

I'm looking for good deal on a Karcher window thingy if anyone sees a bargain, thanks for the Dr B discount, i now have enough soap to last a very long time!

Whatsername7 · 07/10/2019 10:41

Just snapped up the octopal for my nephews birthday! Thanks! With the boots 342, can you collect in store? Want to buy a few cheaper things as well as more expensive things but dont want them to be the free things!

Elphaba17 · 07/10/2019 10:52

Whatsername7 boots usually organise the 3 for 2 discount at checkout to give you the best deal anyway.

wibdib · 07/10/2019 10:59

I’ve just been on a wild goose chase through eBay. On one of my wrong turns I spotted a dinosaur necklace they had loads from about £2-5.

Was like a T. rex that was about 4-5 inches, the tail and body were in the main part of the necklace, the legs looking like the dangle on the necklace.

Great for dinosaur loving girls - looks like a nice necklace from a distance until you get closer to see what it is!

Grambler · 07/10/2019 11:15

Anyone seen any Asda codes? direct.asda.com/george/christmas-shop/room-decorations/hawaiian-santa-christmas-ornament/050713836,default,pd.html?cgid=D18M2G1C6 This guy is begging to come home along with the light up octopus. They have some rather bizarre tree decorations too, nothing quite as odd as John Lewis but they also have an astronaut and sprouts.

eliope · 07/10/2019 11:25

Does anyone know how long Hermes routinely take to deliver? I think my Dr botanicals parcel is lost. I had a notification that it was at the sorting hub on the 1st but it hasn't progressed and now the tracking number is void. Very annoying, Dr B is really lovely and a decent organic brand I've used a lot. Hermes on the other hand...

NotPennysBoat · 07/10/2019 11:36

What is with the weird decorations this year? Loads of random non-Christmassy animals - Christmas Octopus?? It's all wrong I tell ya and I just don't like it!! Reindeer and MAYBE a penguin only here.
