Luxplus what's shipping cost like? Any way to see prices in pounds?

Luxplus · 06/10/2019 20:00

@INotlongnow1 found this regarding shipping
Shipments abroad are delivered by GLS and sent as an insured package and business mail, which means that the package cannot be sent as a gift to non-EU countries in an attempt to evade local taxes and duties.
Regular service in Europe is app. 4-5 business days
Regular service outside Europe is app. 5-7 business days
Sweden, Finland, Germany, Austria, UK, Netherland and Belgium 49 DKK / 7€. Orders over 750 DKK / €100 are sent freight free.

Its 135€ . I tried using a currency converter and got 35.66 £

Notlongnow1 · 06/10/2019 20:01

Thank you! Very tempted but little one between sizes really. Looks lovely stuff though so might just take a punt on it!

Luxplus · 06/10/2019 20:02

Sorry its 40 € and 36 £. My keyboard had a meltdown Blush

Luxplus · 06/10/2019 20:12

@Notlongnow1 your welcome Smile

Duckyneedsaclean · 06/10/2019 20:14

Thanks @Luxplus have ordered a box! It said shipping was 49dkk, (about £6) but then didn't seen to charge me for it, we shall see. Perhaps as the price before discount was over the free shipping level.

Someaddedsugar · 06/10/2019 20:15

Thanks for the wooden food recommendations! Looking on both sites now.

Luxplus · 06/10/2019 20:19

@Duckyneedsaclean normally they calculate shipping on the original price, atleast when shipping here in Denmark. Hope they do the same for UK shipments...

HelloSweetlings · 06/10/2019 20:22

Thankyou Luxplus I could spend a fortune on that site! I got the same price as you Ducky when I ran through checkout but then dithered before ordering

Duckyneedsaclean · 06/10/2019 20:22

@Luxplus, Brill! By the way, your photos before, was that all from one box or two?

Luxplus · 06/10/2019 20:24

@Ducky that was one bag Smile

Bluewavescrashing · 06/10/2019 20:30

Rarrrgh, my hobbycraft trolley arrived today and the colour is great but holy fuck I just can't build the damn thing. Think I'll have to return it.
Nothing helpful to add sorry!

noodledoodler · 06/10/2019 20:38

@Bluewavescrashing shall I send him round to build it?

Has anyone seen any bargainous Checkerboard Vans anywhere? DD has decided she would like them but I don't want to spend anywhere near that much on a pair of shoes she will grow out of in 6 months. Typically she has just gone up to a 3, the leap from junior to adult prices.

The range has loads of lovely bits and pieces in for Christmas, and some fab little crafty stocking fillers too.

Lacazettes · 06/10/2019 20:42

The code GoodHomes gives 15 percent off at Hotel Chocolat if that helps anyone.

BrexitBirgit · 06/10/2019 20:45

Science-inspired Jewellery are having a 20% off everything sale for another day (26 hrs). perfect for my geeky DD Grin

Reluctantbettlynch · 06/10/2019 20:48

@Luxplus do you know if the sizing is generous? DS is 9 but both tall and stocky - I'm debating the 11-12 but not sure items will fit him

villamariavintrapp · 06/10/2019 20:49

Thank you Luxplus-just ordered for both my kids, looks lovely!

BrexitBirgit · 06/10/2019 20:49

Oops in my excitement I misread the prices. Science-inspired Jewellery is NOT bargainous sorry! I think I can get similar elsewhere at a lesser cost.

Luxplus · 06/10/2019 20:58

@Reluctantbettlynch
Size guide attached
First colon height size
2nd colon chest size
3rd colon waist size
4th colon hips size
5th colon leg length in cm
I would say size is normal but definitely designed for Scandinavian heights.
