When do you start playing your christmas music

I love Christmas songs and I have been guilty of maybe listening to some in early November . I saw advertised on TV today the music channel STARZ will be starting their Christmas music 1st October ? I think this is maybe too early ? What do you think and how soon do start with the songs ?

September after the children go back to school as I start thinking about Christmas and presents, it helps get me in the mood to shop.

So secretly I listen then, I subject the rest of the family to it 6th November onwards.

Ilovemyhairbeingstroked we watched 'the Santa Clause' and 'Angela's Christmas' this afternoon because it was grey and gloomy outside. Then we had a disco Grin (we being me, and almost three year old DS).

Whenever I'm feeling down about something or need a distraction, I play Christmas music or watch a Christmas film.

Same. Whenever I'm feeling stressed or down I throw on a Christmas song or film to cheer me up. Always works.
I've had the odd song on past week or so but as a PP said, last year I really overdid it and by the time Christmas came around I had ruined the magic somewhat. Taking it a bit easier this year Grin
