Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Wonderbly have a sale code to celebrate their 6th Birthday

Save 20% with code BIRTHDAY

4yearsnosleep · 23/09/2019 09:30

I now have all the stocking fillers thanks to the Smiggle sale and the Ocado sale.

Now on the look out for ideas for my husband

Unihorn · 23/09/2019 09:41

Just contemplating the Wonderbly books but also have a code for HoorayHeroes who have the same concept, but their books look a lot more detailed! Anyone a connoisseur of personalised books? Grin

Changingagain · 23/09/2019 09:55

Thanks to whoever it was who mentioned the inside out door hangers from poundtoys. I've just ordered loads of stocking fillers for £35 using the code THANKYOU15 which gives 15% off until the end of today.

buckeejit · 23/09/2019 10:07

Not much in m&s sale but did buy 2 coats - will decide which colour I prefer when they arrive. Annoyed the t shirt I wanted that they didn't have in store in my size is sold out!

Do gift cards ever have discounts? Thinking of Starbucks/Waterstones etc where dc can go to spend them? Or any other suggestions for children who don't actually want anything?

I've ordered a couple of the photo printed glasses cloths on eBay. Hope they are great little gifts for grandparents

LBOCS2 · 23/09/2019 10:08

@WaitWhatOh also look at the Joules eBay outlet - there's a lot of stuff on there.

Worrywart21 · 23/09/2019 10:18

I bought the wonderbly book last year for DS7. Its got so much detail and is so interesting and Wel written, would definitely recommend.

daphine2004 · 23/09/2019 10:24

@PaddingtonBearHardStare that’s really annoying and happened to a pair of jeans I wanted! I think because I was shopping so early there was loads in stock.

@buckeejit regarding discounts on gift cards, if your work place has an employee benefit perk scheme you might be able to get it through them. I know not all work places do this, mine does and DH, so we check who gets the bigger discount before we make a purchase.

mogtheexcellent · 23/09/2019 10:35

@NotPennysBoat

I bought an inflatable pool noodle from ebay. Does the job of keeping toys from disappearing down the side of the bed.

margaritasbythesea · 23/09/2019 10:36

I've just bought these lunch boxes for a pound in Morrisons. They had Orla Kierly style ones too.

Irish one: Mr Price had Minecraft plushies for €12.99. I saw an iron golem and a spider. Not sure if there are any others available as cashier said they were flying off the shelves.
About 30cm/12” I think (I’m terrible at measurements).

I’m hoping you might be able to help identify a soft toy for me. I’ve googled but can’t find it. DS spotted these through someone’s window and I know he’d love them. There were two, one dog, one cat, very realistic looking soft toys on pillows, dog/cat asleep/lying down. Looked like the pillows were part of it, as made of the same plush/soft fabric. Thanks!

princessbear80 · 23/09/2019 11:46

Thanks nocuts I’ll make sure I take a visit to primark

thesoo · 23/09/2019 11:48

ASOS have 25% off for students at the moment. I'm not a student but would really appreciate a Unidays code if anyone is able to pm? There are a few things that DD would love.

Barbarara · 23/09/2019 11:51

20% off at trouva with code CELBRATE
It’s not the cheapest place to shop but has some quite unusual pieces.

Unihorn · 23/09/2019 12:03

RedLetterDays have 15% off with SEPT15 and are doing the Prezzo voucher again for £25 as a result, along with discounted spa days etc.

Spam88 · 23/09/2019 12:09

I want to get a Prezzo voucher for someone this year, but after only paying £15 last year I don't think they're going to be bargainous enough for my liking.

Unihorn · 23/09/2019 12:21

Yes I bought 3 last year! They had 30% off at some point I think didn't they.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 23/09/2019 12:32

Does anyone have unidays code for paperchase please 🙏 spending a fortune and really need to reduce it

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 23/09/2019 12:43

The big green and blacks tasting boxes that we all bought last year at £7.66 in Waitrose, reduced from £11.50

Not quite as bargainous as last year I think

Yeknom · 23/09/2019 12:49

I've only just found you all Blush Yes! Last years Green and Black boxes were amazing, hoping for something similar again this year for all the teachers!

SweetPeaPods · 23/09/2019 13:05

I forgot all about the green and black chocolates. I got mine from amazon iirc

Elphaba17 · 23/09/2019 13:26

Tesco seem to reduce the green and blacks set to £5.50 every year so I'll be looking out for that.

What is everyone planning to buy from smyths this year?

SleeptightDaisy · 23/09/2019 13:33

Tesco did discount on gift cards last year in sure it was in December. I bought cinema ones for older nephews. Someone else must know though as I heard about it in one of the Christmas threads.

totallyLosingIt · 23/09/2019 13:35

@princessbear80

My daughter has a cat one that sounds similar to what you're describing. They are quite small though, not a realistic size. I've found similar ones on amazon (please check sizes though if you do decide to order!)
