Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Referral link here . Use this to post any links where you can refer a mner and you or both of you get an incentive. For ease and fairness please don’t post these on the main thread.

Thank you for the Clearance Shed link.

I've seen a few things on there I want to get but it's not letting me checkout - I'm getting a message under Shipping saying "Sorry, no quotes are available for this order at this time"

Anyone else having problems?

Chilli18 · 24/09/2019 20:07

Does anyone know if the argos offer starts at midnight tonight?

Redwinestillfine · 24/09/2019 20:13

If anyone is shopping at the body shop anyway (£20 spend) and wants a free 50ml body shop vitamin e moisture cream (worth £13) use code 19809

1stMrsF · 24/09/2019 20:27

I've caved and bought the Spode! Decided to split into a 2 plate plus mug set for children's presents which worked out at £8.50 per child which seems like a really nice gift at a very good price. Added a serving tray for my sister who already has a complete set of Spode (in part thanks to you lot Smile) and I'm sure will like something matching for canapés!

Someaddedsugar · 24/09/2019 20:30

@EternallyGrapefruit I've just been looking at Perfume Parlour - do the scents last long? DMIL really likes Marc Jacobs Daisy and we have a secret santa between us rather than present buying and I know I have her this year so thought that might be a nice option but not sure on how well the scent will last.

Pixie2015 · 24/09/2019 20:32

Can’t stop looking at the sophie allport Christmas ranges just don’t need anything else to fill kitchen cupboards - sooo tempting

NotPennysBoat · 24/09/2019 20:32

Just bought some gorgeous wrapping paper from Cox & Cox, used a code from the referral thread to get £20 off. Thanks for whoever suggested that (and I've added my cox&cox code to the bottom of the referral thread for anyone else wanting it).

ClaraLane · 24/09/2019 20:40

Money saving expert had a thing in their weekly email about an offer for Naked wines - 3 x white, 3 x red and a Prosecco plus 2 x glasses for £35! www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/naked-wines/?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=24-Sep-19-50579601-166&utm_campaign=nt-blaggedformse&utm_content=5#51927

Stolenidentity · 24/09/2019 20:41

Can someone link the thread code please so I can find it.

imsorryiasked · 24/09/2019 20:43

NotPennysBoat · 24/09/2019 20:47

@Stolenidentity do you mean the referral thread...?
Christmas bargains referral thread 1 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/Christmas/3678600-Christmas-bargains-referral-thread-1

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 24/09/2019 21:13

imsorryiasked - I've just tried creating an account but I'm still not getting any postage options.

Bugger. Maybe it's not meant to be.

Snooky17 · 24/09/2019 21:22

@tooner could it be cut price Barry’s ?

CamdenTownie · 24/09/2019 21:25

Does Anyone know if you can get a Lego ice cream van or similar that isn't Lego friends?

I want to get dd2 a small Lego set to build but just the one piece rather than lots of little bits, Toy Story would have been great but it's lots of small figures to make.

princessbear80 · 24/09/2019 21:35

Wow there are some lovely Christmas bits on Cox and Cox and also the Sophie Allport stuff is gorgeous too. If I was feeling flush I could spend hundreds!! Instead I’ll keep trying to save some pennies and buy DS something from the Smyths/Argos sale.

Someaddedsugar · 24/09/2019 21:38

Could I be cheeky and ask if someone could give me a unidays code for asos?

CamdenTownie · 24/09/2019 21:43

@Someaddedsugar pm me

SweetPeaPods · 24/09/2019 21:43

Amazon appear to be matching Smyths with lots of toys including Lego with around 20% off.

SleeptightDaisy · 24/09/2019 21:57

I'm not sure if this is a bargain or not as mine are not into them but I thought I'd seen a message about funko pops if so the works have some online for £7

Stolenidentity · 24/09/2019 22:06

Yes I did. Oops and thanks.

ReindeerPoop · 24/09/2019 22:12

DD (12) has just asked for one of these £26 for a handheld mirror?? Shock

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 24/09/2019 22:17

@ReindeerPoop but you get some free straws!! Grin apparently worth £19 Shock

Jammiebammie · 24/09/2019 22:25

@NNat I had an eBay code but just checked and it’s only for certain sellers. You could try it, it’s ‘PLENTIFUL’. What Lego set are you after?

I’m having a bad week. Haven’t reserved anything at Argos for tomorrow I’ve hit a bit of a slump I think. Hope everyone gets some good bargains, I’ve not got a clue anymore.
