Having eyeballed the Spode for many a year, I just got the mug, plate and side plate set, ordered 2, so have an 8 setting collection and the huge teapot. For £108 delivered

Bowls...if you go on eBay, the bowls are £3 each! Brand new. No idea why so cheap when the rest from the seller is in line with the Spode website. So just got the whole lot for another £24 plus £6.50 postage.

Anyone heading into Smyths this morning? I’m hoping to pick up the advent calendars, some OG accessories and a couple of charity gifts. This is first year in a long time that I won’t be getting the dcs’ main gifts. Usually by the end of Sept I’m nearly done. I feel very disorganized this year. They’re too old now to fall for my gift propaganda and not change their minds so I’ll going to wait til closer to Christmas to buy. I’m far better at saving money by buying bargains, than I am at saving actual cash
