Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Gustavo1 I wouldn’t have minded but when I was driving and went through a pot hole it said ‘slow down!’

Jessica78 · 13/09/2019 08:02

Kikki K (diaries and stationery) have some good deals on at the moment, including some nice bits in the sale, free monogramming on 2020 diaries and a buy 2 get the third item free. If you create an account they also send you a £5 voucher. Shipping is £6, but this is negated by the voucher or free if you spend over £40...

The diaries are consistently rated 'best' in 'best diaries for next year columns at the end of the year...'

Its still not a bargain, but a good discount for lovely quality!

Yosemite Women's Bohemia Handmade Multilayer Faux Pearl Beads Bracelet Jewelry www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078S7Q8FP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_W9ZEDb0TTP8QJ?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Got a few of these for my 13 year old daughter to split amongst her friends for Christmas. They all like stacking bracelets.

winewolfhowls · 13/09/2019 08:15

My son wants a big boy scooter. He's six. He has had a brilliant globber with two wheels at front but now wants one wheel each end and it needs to be bigger. He's very tall.

Can anyone recommend a good scooter or if you see a bargain please let me know!

Gustavo1 · 13/09/2019 08:18

Just a note that the Velcro blocks codes don’t work on the multibuy items

NoWordForFluffy · 13/09/2019 08:29

Bloody hell, side! Sounds like fun. Don't they have an off switch?!

Unihorn · 13/09/2019 08:55

Think I might get a Wonderbly book each for my two with that code actually, they look lovely! I remember I contemplated it last year but they were a bit young for longer books.

This is random but I'm thinking of putting together a bit of a fancy dress box for my 3 year old - different hats and cheap bits - so if anyone sees any bargains please let me know. I think Flying Tiger normally have random stuff.

Jammiebammie · 13/09/2019 09:01

Hype deal just sent to my email.

Thanks so much to everyone for the funko help Smile

LostMyRubySlippers · 13/09/2019 09:17

Just came on to post the hype deal but I’m too slow! 50% off just worked for me- on sale items! 3 kids T-shirt’s for £20 delivered

Also unihorn I recall having cheap hats from Wilkos in the past eg police, builder etc

Worrywart21 · 13/09/2019 09:44

My daughter is asking for a ballerina costume. Can anyone recommend one?

totallyLosingIt · 13/09/2019 09:51

@Worrywart21 Sainsbury's usually have a lovely one as a permanent stock item. DD has had a few from there and they've always been lovely and lasted ages. They usually do 25% off clothing at some point in each school holiday too.

recklessgran · 13/09/2019 09:52

About the lack of Matalan codes. I'm dying to buy from the Christmas shop too but decided to wait for a code. Even though I know I'm signed up to Matalan as I get the occasional e-mail from them I decided to go back on their site and resign up for e-mails if you see what I mean. This was yesterday. Is it a coincidence that this morning I have codes for £5 off £25, £10 off £50 and £15 off £75? I'll post any of those I don't use on here but worth trying the same trick all?

totallyLosingIt · 13/09/2019 09:52

@Worrywart21 Link here for Sainsbury's ballet stuff

wibbletooth · 13/09/2019 09:53

@Unihorn keep an eye on Sainsbury’s - they often have dressing up stuff on offer, especially after world book day, Halloween, Christmas etc when they have had a reason to get specific costumes in. If you hit it right you can often get 50% off and then when they have their Tu 25% off everything promotions (approx every 6 weeks) another 25% off that price (so a total discount of 62.5%). Plus they have cute kids hats and sunglasses etc in their ordinary clothes which get big reductions.

mycatislickingherpaw · 13/09/2019 10:10

sideorderofchips could you please tell me which one is that car and where you found it? I think my little one would like it.

Is it the Mattel fbp12 Disney Pixar touch screen one?

BadgerFace · 13/09/2019 10:28

Good idea @recklessgran I have just resigned up too as I’m sitting on a basket full of things and was hoping for an email offer after reading the thread... Although I also want some of the Christmas stuff not yet in stock so I’m not 100% sure whether to buy now or wait until it’s all in stock!

justmemrsb · 13/09/2019 10:35

I have a set of Matalan codes if anyone would like to try them?

Elphaba17 · 13/09/2019 10:39

What is the lightning McQueen deal please? I must have missed it.

And thanks for the Matalan tip recklessgran, I'll try doing that as I haven't received any codes from them in months.

Re the ballet outfit, home bargains and b and m sometimes have a costume too.

BadgerFace · 13/09/2019 10:43

Spode deal for multiple purchases. The photo just made me buy two of the mugs... I didn’t need three so got 20% off as a first time buyer with HELLO20 by putting my email address in on the first page.

Thread 3 - I do not need hot chocolate balls and I never thought I'd get so stressed over willies
Elphaba17 · 13/09/2019 10:46

Has anyone ever ordered seconds from Spode? My mum is after a blue willow type pattern and there is a good deal on their blue Italian range but it's seconds.

NickMyLipple · 13/09/2019 11:10

@justmemrsb I would love the matalan codes please?

justmemrsb · 13/09/2019 11:27

@NickMyLipple could you send me a DM please and I'll reply with the codes? I'm using the app and have no clue how to send a message on here!

Unihorn · 13/09/2019 11:35

wibbletooth thanks for that, hadn't thought of Sainsbury's!

TakeMeToYourLiar · 13/09/2019 11:36

To whoever asked about fancy dress. We did the same for DS last year. Most was picked up from Facebook market place. Amazing bargains.

We also got a lot of accessories from charity shops, adult hats and costume jewellery.

@Elphaba17 my dinner service is seconds Spode Italian blue. I've yet to spot what is wrong with it abd I've used it every day for a year

LadyNina00 · 13/09/2019 11:37
