Just to warn anyone buying or thinking about the sass and belle Childrens tin tea set, I saw it in tkmaxx yesterday and it’s tiny! I was going to order one for my 2 year old (at Xmas) but glad I didn’t.

IHeartKingThistle · 15/09/2019 10:05

Hi, I'm joining earlier than usual this year!

I'm just doing my Sainsbury's online shop and they have a big homeware sale including a Bush classic turntable record player for £25 down from £40.

DS1 has been saying he wants a Cozmo robot for xmas since the spring, and is still sure, so it's probably time I got hold of one

any ideas for how to make it bargainous? They're £100 which is pretty much his entire tree present budget. It just seems a lot to blow on one thing.....

recklessgran · 15/09/2019 12:05

20% off at Cath Kidston when you spend over £40 with code AUTUMN19. Code works on already discounted items so hope it helps someone.
I'm looking for a lovely glasses case for my DD in her 20's - any suggestions? I've got my eye on a Cath Kidston one but not sure if it's contemporary enough. Also need some gold stud earrings with gems/coloured glass in but don't want to pay Samuels prices however they need to be nice quality - I want the earth don't I?
So grateful for this thread getting good ideas and saving a fortune!
Thanks all.

IggyAce · 15/09/2019 12:12

@recklessgran have a look at Warren James for earrings, they usually have some nice jewellery at reasonable prices.

PinkDaydreams · 15/09/2019 12:15

Does anyone know if bean bag bazaar go further into sale? Seen a bag in the ‘summer sale’ but wasn’t sure whether to hold off in case it gets reduced further?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 15/09/2019 12:24

in store yesterday in Claire's they had 3 for £5 on all sale items £5 and under. then 6 for £15 on things above £5. pretty good deals to be had. dd bought her friend for her birthday a cosmetic bag, multipack of chokers and a money box for £5!

need help want to get a small add on for my friends sons birthday under £5 posted he's going to be 5 loves Lego, dinosaurs (in particular triceratops) and cars. already have a Lego mini dinosaur polybag but have the above for his sister's birthday so want it to look equal! :)

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 15/09/2019 13:50

+recklessgran*;in the past I've bought nice glasses cases from Paperchase and dot-com giftshop (now called Rex London IIRC)

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 15/09/2019 14:35

Has anyone tried the Wilco blox? It says they fit with “the leading brand” but has anyone tried them with Lego?

Looking at the base plates and figures in particular.

Tiredsahm84 · 15/09/2019 14:41

I don't like the Wilko blox range looks great but the bricks don't click together that well

Ds gets so frustrated with them, asked the in laws for a smaller Lego set instead next time

Tiredsahm84 · 15/09/2019 14:41

I think the figures would be fine though

Chocolateteabag · 15/09/2019 14:58

@QVCismyJam - yep! Ordered! Thank you for all your advice Thanks[santa]
