Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@CupoTeap

I just checked with fairly brand conscious DD. She says yes absolutely noone can tell the difference

MutedUser · 14/09/2019 13:28

I would buy the chilly ones if you could afford it

DarkHumour · 14/09/2019 13:34

@TalkingOrmer I haven’t opened it, but the reviews I read on Amazon, we’re suggesting it was good for 6+. I have bought it for a very tall almost 5 yr old. The handle bars adjust in height and reviews mentioned it was equally good for 10+ year olds. It’s made from Aircraft grade aluminium so I’m hoping it’ll last for years.

Reastie · 14/09/2019 13:55

I have chilly and s’well bottles and they are fantastic. I’d be interested if cheaper ones are as good.

LoonyLunaLoo · 14/09/2019 14:26

@Reastie I can confirm that Morrison’s ones are fantastic! I’m not a brand conscious teen though and DS is 10 and not aware of the different brands anyway.

LoonyLunaLoo · 14/09/2019 14:27

@Reastie sorry meant to add they’re also £5 to £6 and mine is a gorgeous rose gold.

character.com have merchandise from different kids characters and football teams. their clearance section is great x

SushiGo · 14/09/2019 15:30

Wilko delivery is quite steep, so went to the shop to look at the bottles. They look fab!

I don't have a teen so can't comment on whether they're similar enough to chilly's but an adult would be happy.

Thanks all will take a look and see

FlowerTink · 14/09/2019 15:37

Also ordered the Barbie Clinic, thank you to PP who posted about it!

McAvennie · 14/09/2019 15:37

Quite specific but does anyone know whether Bigjigs normally do any discounts in the run up to Christmas?

DS is getting a kitchen off his grandparents and I’d like to get some nice wooden food to go with it.

Sunshine196 · 14/09/2019 15:41

Oh no the smyths catalogue arrived today. My 4yo wants the lol house for Xmas. She's already getting the camper van next month for her birthday. I'm going to be overrun by shitty plastic dolls aren't I. Meh. To be fair she does play with them loads. If anyone sees an offer please let me know as it's pricey.

Daisydukes79 · 14/09/2019 15:43

Wilkos quite often have decent wooden food, I had a sliceable pizza from there a few years ago. I've also had some bargains on amazon, worth keeping your eyes on there.

Sunshine196 · 14/09/2019 15:43

Also, any ideas for nearly 9yo girls? So far she's got some lego & a sparkly lamp. I mentioned Xmas to her the other day & she drew a blank on ideas! I'm thinking of a stackers jewellery box as she's quite into collecting nice bits of jewellery & last Black Friday they had them on offer.

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/09/2019 16:01

@Sunshine196 my niece is 9 an so far has mentioned a pair of heelys and a pair of fluffy slippers

Sunshine196 · 14/09/2019 16:04

Oh yes she has outgrown her heeleys & she was pretty good on them. That's a good idea. Thanks.
