That's for the heads up about the Entertainer sale - that's my niece sorted! Both my nieces sorted actually, just no idea what to buy for my 2yo nephews 😩

Any (bargainous) suggestions for a 8 yo girl would be very much appreciated as well! We don't see much of her so I have no idea what she's in to and I don't know any other 8 year olds so can't work out whether things in looking at are really pitched at her age.

Just got my landsend order (delivered into the green bin and didn’t get a dispatch email so a good job I was putting some cardboard out to recycle!). I’d never heard of them but got me and the husband some winter coats - how very festive... - and they are very warm and snug. Wish I’d bought some stuff for other people now

Mine was almost identical, one book different & the socks were actually my favourite part.

I haven't found any online discoveries equivalent to my epic Magpie sale share last year buuuut...

Anyone with a Flying Tiger (formerly Tiger) store within 100 miles of them needs to lurk beside their magical pink table of bargains as often as possible and swoon at the goodies that get parked there.

A nice staff member in an Essex branch told me this spring that EVERYTHING unsold in-store ends up on the pink table the following season. It's usually located about 2/3rds of the way around the shop and EVERYTHING ON IT COSTS A POUND.

My favourite extraordinary bargains so far have been beautiful ice skating-themed play tents (similar shape and proportions to the Ikea circus tent) in their own zip-up carry bags FOR A POUND and marquee style party lights with changeable lettering, reduced from £24 TO A POUND. But I've also kitted out our craft cupboard 100 times over, got candy cane slankets for the festive season, bought some lovely wooden dolls house items as stocking fillers and saved myself a fortune on birthday gifts.

I've bought multiples of everything to donate to my DD's school and given stuff away to friends just to share the mindblowing savings around. Apparently it is a company policy to avoid wastage. Every item - from £2 craft things to £30 play tents - ends up on the pink table in the end!!!

(Another top tip from a staff member in the Tottenham Court Road store was that bigger branches have a faster turnover and rotate old stock to new areas if they can't move it. So regular visitors to smaller stores reap extra rewards. Fingers crossed that the pink table brings you some cheapskate joy too Wink)
