Thank you for all the congrats and messages on the last thread. I didn’t reply to all of them as I thought it might be dull reading for everyone but I really appreciate the advice, understanding and general congratulatory comments. Bad news is I’m still stuck on the sofa feeling sick, but at least it won’t last forever (thank goodness!).

Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Pink we got a garden wooden picnic table for dd when she was a toddler. You can buy a parasol that clips onto the side of the table (not no hole in the table) which we also have and works really well. It was from ikea. Think the table was about £20 or so and forget how much the parasol. You might be able to get plastic ones cheaper but we liked the wooden one and it’s easy to move as you don’t have separate chairs with it. We store it outside all year round and haven’t dont any treatment to it and it’s still going strong after a fair few years of use.

Re shoppix, is anyone else finding receipts being denied? I just joined and my first one was reflected because store name/address or total wasn’t given but it was, and it was clear.

Yeah. I challenge them and mostly get them through. I've had a few knocked back but can't be arsed to worry too much!

PinkDaydreams · 20/01/2019 13:58

@Reastie and @NoWord thank you! I didn’t know clip on parasols were a thing. Off to the ikea website I go!! Grin

woodwaj · 20/01/2019 15:41

I've done quite a lot and the only one I've had rejected was a bus ticket..and I was just trying my luck with that one!

Jessica78 · 20/01/2019 19:55

Rex London (formerly dotcomgiftshop) have lots of stocking filler type things in the sale - I just bought 20 items for £15.

NoWordForFluffy · 21/01/2019 14:39

I love Rex London!

gaggiagirl · 21/01/2019 16:17

Thanks for the rex London suggestion. There are loads of fab things on sale.

Spam88 · 22/01/2019 07:25

I'm like obsessed with this Shoppix app. Back in work today so going to ask everyone to empty their pockets for me 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 22/01/2019 18:25

😂😂

I've not thought about that trick! Must try it!

Some of my referrals haven't been used, or they've not completed their profiles, so I'm missing a few points from those.

sideorderofchips · 22/01/2019 19:02

Just bought loads off Rex London thank you!!

sideorderofchips · 22/01/2019 19:18

I’ve not had any issues with receipts on shoppix. I’m up to 1485 points

Fuckingfuckssake · 23/01/2019 10:18

I used a referral code off here to sign up to Shoppix, can't remember who's it was but thank you! Also asking very nicely if anyone has a Boden voucher they're not going to use? I obviously don't need a new jumper, but I might be able to justify it with a tenner off!

Duchessofealing · 23/01/2019 20:51

Fuckingfuckssake - i’ll pm you - needs using by 28th

Reastie · 24/01/2019 10:35

Has anyone got a recommendation for a child size fitness tracker watch? Dd has asked for one for her birthday and they all seem to be adult ones or very expensive children’s ones or ones that say they are for children but reviews say they are too big for children to use.

Hi Reastie someone on here recommended mi band 3 miband my 6 and 8 yr old for them from Christmas and they’re fab! They’re a little big on their wrists on the tightest hole but they can still wear them fine.

Reastie · 24/01/2019 12:33

Thanks Carrie. Would you mind measuring for me how big the strap is when it’s smallest? I just want to make sure it won’t be too big for dd.

I'm 100 points from a voucher. Can I tempt anyone with my code? Grin 47RGJ3I5

woodwaj · 24/01/2019 21:06

Should say for shoppix apologies!

NoWordForFluffy · 24/01/2019 22:11

You've done well, woodwaj. I'm loads away yet. I buy most stuff on a Friday though, so it'll perk up tomorrow!

Carrie76 · 24/01/2019 22:25

@reastie sorry for delay just saw your message! It was easier to measure his wrist while he’s asleep as he wears it in bed! His wrist is almost 5 inches

Reastie · 25/01/2019 07:16

Thanks, I’ll measure dd later

This handheld space invaders is only £8 at Urban Outfitters at the moment, the RRP on it is £30 and if you use the code SALEONSALE it brings it down to £5.60, it's £3.99 delivery but they are quite big and look impressive, would make good presents for school friends.

Nowordforfluffy unusual January circumstances I think! D's birthday is in a week so I've been buying presents throughout the month. I've been printing ebay/Amazon emails and they've all been accepted which is good when I've bought loads of party bag fillers etc. And a few friends from work have been leaving receipts on my desk Wink

Jfw82 · 25/01/2019 11:54

@MrsCrimbo74 thanks for the space invaders tip- that's the first of next year's stocking fillers!
