When do you wrap ?

I have an 11 Ds waiting for him to go to sleep so I can wrap his presents.

He has Adhd so could be a while.

I have usually started by now. I forgot my dd was on holiday this week. Feck.

I can relate. My 7 year old has asd and a possible adhd and he takes ages to go sleep and is a light sleeper so wrappig presents in the evening is pretty much impossible.

I tend to start early. Get some wrapped when DS’s at school and DD at pre school! Wrap as I go along as I hate wrapping and get bored when wrapping loads in one go!

Always the weekend before Christmas so someone can take the kids out for the day and I can get on with it..50-70 presents takes a while 😫

Waiting for Monday when all 3 are at school/nursery and no chance of being disturbed. Only problem is sorting a good hiding place!

I wrapped the stocking stuff tonight. Will do some more when the kids are at school. I've just realised I'm running out of days.

My son has asd and probably wouldn't even notice if he was in the same room on the iPad! I managed to hide his sisters doll house in his room very successfully.

I wrap as I go. My theory is if the hiding place is rumbled they don't know what it is!

I usually do drive and drabs over the week up to Christmas and then the majority on Christmas Eve evening - this year I have to do them all before then as we are driving to inlaws in the evening as DH is working in the day.

Have pretty much wrapped everything I’ve bought for other people so far in 2 evenings with the dds helping.
All their stuff is hiding in a couple of suitcases in the spare room and will be wrapped when they go to the panto on Thursday.
Feeling quite smug and on top of things considering my list of recipients is in the 50’s and I only started shopping last week Grin

I’ve done most of DH’s today. Some were done a while back due to seeing people/posting dates.

I’ll probably do the rest either Wednesday night or next Saturday.

Some of you are so organised. I am mid flow but come to get my phone in search of a basketball 🏀? I hide things all over the place need my torch to search under the bed 😳

I really HATE wrapping. If I were rich, I'd hire a full time gift-wrapper!

I'll start on Monday. And I'll literally divide the number of gifts I have to wrap by 5 and FORCE myself to wrap that many per day to make sure I don't end up in a Xmas Eve panic having to wrap everything in 3 hours.

Did I mention I hate wrapping? LOVE everything else about Xmas, though.
