Get out the Christmas chocolates and chocolate biscuits?

I usually resist until Christmas Eve as otherwise they'd be gone in a couple of days and I don't have the funds to replace them all.

When do you open yours? And what do you have?

I've restricted myself to one tub of Quality Street which are my childhood favourite, 2 boxes of M&S chocolate biscuits, 2 boxes of After 8 Mints, and my big splash this year: a jar of Montezumas buttons.

DD tore open the box of Heroes on Sinday.
I emptied a box of those Malteaser Truffles into a glass bob-bon jar to look pretty (they do Xmas Grin ) we keep dipping into them.

QueenOnAPlate · 11/12/2018 20:45

I think testing them is a very important part of the process, otherwise how would you know which mince pies/ chocolates/ Bailey’s style drink will be the most delicious?

JiltedJohnsJulie · 11/12/2018 20:47

I must be really miserable, I don’t buy them.

Musicalstatues · 11/12/2018 20:49

MysweetAudrina · 11/12/2018 21:13

Dh bought 18 750ml bottles of Pepsi max for Christmas. There are 2 left, he drank them all. I have opened 2 boxes of all butter mince pies, i had nothing in for dessert so opened them.

I do try to keep them until xmas eve or else it's a month of eating shite instead of 2 weeks.

I have Belgian choc biscuits, cadburys choc biscuits, after eights, raphaellos (so?) 2 boxes of tayto, all stashed upstairs.

I’ve secretly opened the mini cheddars tub already and now regretting it as I couldn’t get a replacement tub in my online shopping Grin.

We’re not spending Christmas here, so got to wait for 28th December to buy all the nice bits and bobs. Counting down the days!

Have one tub of roses and tub of heros, three packs large crisps snacks. 1 tin shortbread. 1 big box cadburys fingers (6 packets inside).

We have eaten one packet of the chocolate fingers but will not open anymore until at least Christmas Eve

Jaffacakebeast · 11/12/2018 22:24

I Started the chocolates when I was putting tree up and wrapping presents at the weekend
