Get out the Christmas chocolates and chocolate biscuits?

I usually resist until Christmas Eve as otherwise they'd be gone in a couple of days and I don't have the funds to replace them all.

When do you open yours? And what do you have?

I've restricted myself to one tub of Quality Street which are my childhood favourite, 2 boxes of M&S chocolate biscuits, 2 boxes of After 8 Mints, and my big splash this year: a jar of Montezumas buttons.

When the tree goes up! Last weekend for us. Just one tub of quality street here.

Oh crap is it not ok.... I'm on box 2 and we've had them opened since 1st Dec! Oops. 😂

The tree is now up. Wrestling that 7.5ft beast up the stairs into the living room and into its stand by my 5'3" self was probably an entertaining sight! As the tree decorating day had arrived we opened a box of After 8s. They have gone downhill just like most chocolate these days. It's sad when you look forward to Christmas treats and they aren't the same as they used to be. I checked the ingredients list and the types of vegetable fat they use was alarming.

As it's still 13 sleeps to go to Christmas Day the chocolate goodies consumption will have to be restricted somewhat but at least they are now open Smile
