Well, everything is paid for, just hve a few things being delivered this week.

Tree and decs are down from the loft ready to be put up tomorrow afternoon.

Online food delivery booked for the 22nd (plus a spare slot reserved for the 23rd in case anything is missed off/substituted)

butcher has my order.

I cheated and had a Christmas cake made so that needs picking up.

Heismyopendoor · 08/12/2018 16:19

I only need to pick up DD’s bike and I’m done :)

christmaschristmaschristmas · 08/12/2018 16:20

Yep. But I have the twitch BADLY.

Bumbumtaloo · 08/12/2018 16:25

Yes, I am! Completely finished and 99% wrapped. Even gone as far as to put the DD’s presents in their stockings and sacks - was easier to store them. Food order placed and will be delivered on 22nd. Tree been up since the 1st. I’m 100% sure we/I have forgotten something and will remember around 4mins before the shops close on Christmas Eve Grin

MadMum101 · 08/12/2018 16:32

Not even started.

I aspire to be like all of you every year and have it all bought and wrapped in early December but every year I have mountains to wrap on Christmas Eve so don't get to bed til 3am + then feel like crap on the Day Hmm.

Most decorations are up though.

ExcitedForChristmas18 · 08/12/2018 16:36

Me!! And I'm so bloody proud of myself? Last year DH and I were wrapping until 4am Christmas morning! Never again!!
This year I have even wrapped everything already!

If I could walk around with a huge flashing sign on top of my head to tell the whole world this..I would Grin

Wolfcub · 08/12/2018 16:42

The tree is up, the shopping (apart from food) is done and the presents are wrapped but there are no cards written and no home made Christmas pud, mincemeat it chutneys this year. In fact I will probably do no baking at all this Christmas (the cake is already done)

@MadMum101 same 🙄. Every sodding year....

MrsScamander · 08/12/2018 17:23

Yep, and all but 2 presents wrapped! Grin normally me and DP spend Christmas Eve wrapping and fighting! I always think the wrapping will be so festive, we'll have all the twinkly lights on, put a Christmas film on and be festive. Really it results in pins and needles (have to wrap on the floor) and fights over DP's dodgy wrapping and who has to wrap the LOL dolls and other awkward shaped gifts!

DP is cooking Christmas dinner for us, only 4 of us, so I'm leaving all the food buying and prep to him 👍🏻

MyDcAreMarvel · 08/12/2018 17:35

I have finished but I do the majority in September in Argos 3 for 2. Randomly buy stuff from amazon, studio and magpie in October and finish on Black Friday online shopping.
I have seven children who have ten presents each plus around 25 stocking bits which I pick up through the year from, the works, Poundland , home and bargain etc.
So with them an other relatives I really need to be organised.
I don’t buy for any friends though , stopped years ago.

Arrowfanatic · 08/12/2018 17:51

Kids are done, DH is done, my family is done (well I still need to get another small something for my nan, I know what I'm getting just haven't done it yet), food is being delivered and picked up on 21st December. Hoping to get everything wrapped on Monday whilst kids are at school and DH is at work.

Just need to buy more booze and a few perishable bits closer to the day.

RenardeRenarde · 08/12/2018 18:41

Everything finished and wrapped bar one - DH announced an unexpected Xmas guest yesterday evening but have hit Amazon Prime and the last gift will be here tomorrow ready to wrap :) I’m not hosting so don’t need to worry about food, will just buy some nice bits closer to the time

HollyBollyBooBoo · 08/12/2018 18:46

All done, wrapped and under the tree...and breathe.

BarbedBloom · 08/12/2018 19:17

I have finished three times so far. I keep seeing things I know people will love Confused

BarbedBloom · 08/12/2018 19:17

Oh and I have lost one present as it arrived while my H was in the room and I shoved it...somewhere. Everything else is wrapped

Oysterbabe · 08/12/2018 19:31

I thought I had but I think I need to get one more thing for the 1 year old. I've only got him a couple of little things for his stocking and I'm worried that my 3 year old will ask why santa didn't get him a toy. I'll pick up something for her benefit. No wrapping done though! The dolls house will have to be built and wrapped once 3 year old is in bed Christmas eve.

dementedma · 08/12/2018 19:33

all done, all wrapped, tree up.
need to marzipan and ice the cake and deliver cards but otherwise sorted.

ritzbiscuits · 08/12/2018 19:41

Me! I try to be done by the end of November each year, but have been off work ill, so a few extras have ended up being ordered online.

Both trees are up and can tackle the cards and wrapping in the coming days. Xmas Smile

BatF1nk · 08/12/2018 19:43

Yes! More or less done! I have ...

DS and DD gifts purchased and wrapped

A couple of boxes filled with nuts, boxes of posh chocolates and truffles

DH presents all got, same with my parents

Lobster and beef in the freezer. Other bits will be joining them next week

BUT despite spending a small fortune on presents for the kids, I now enter the twitching stage and currently have £200 worth of bits and pieces in an online basket at John Lewis Hmm
