I have went this morning while DS was at a frame rehearsal and managed to finish all of my present shopping

The tree is up now too and I am feeling festive!

Just a good shop left to do but I have smoked salmon and blinis in the freezer and bought brandy sauce today (use by is 6th Jan). I have the Christmas puds and the butcher has my meat order so mainly veg and a few last bits to buy nearer the time .

Pressies and wrapping paper are in the living room now ready (where I imaging they will stay taunting me until Christmas Eve).

Almost! Any idea what to buy a 70yo man, teetotal, doesn't eat biscuits, doesn't like new clothes & is confused by modern technology??

I have family and friends bought and wrapped just to get my daughter which i will do next week freezer and pantry full though cant wait x

I do everything online - it’s all ordered and most has already arrived. DH is finishing the food and drinks online order. I never step foot in a store in December. It’s easier this year as both sides of the family are staying with us Christmas week so no timescales to worry about for international postage deliveries.

Got the tree up today but all the other decorations are cluttered about , they need to go up tomorrow.

Food shop in stages , I have a day off work in the week before Christmas.

Took DD out to Bluewater today , it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be (thankfully)
