Homemade gifts!

I know this isn't for everyone but I have a friend that always gives me a hamper of homemade/bought goods and I always love it and I know she would like to receive similar too so this year I have some time to do it and am looking for some homemade bits to put into the hamper for her. Ideally, things that can be made in advance and a bit quirky!
Thanks

i've made some pure wool slippers that then get boiled and felted to custom size :)
not that it takes much time but maybe plan for next year and include a wine and cheese event for the felting process.

You can make (sort of) florentines really easily. Chop nuts, dried fruit or some ginger for a kick. Melt chocolate then make little chocolate puddles and add toppings before the chocolate sets.

I love this sort of gift and love giving it. Unfortunately my family consider this cheap and a cop out of gift giving. Thankfully my friends appreciate my 'Operation Christmas Child' shoebox style gift hamper they get for their birthdays and christmases. Half filled with quirky fandom/geek gifts a t-shirt and some socks and the rest homemade food and art work.
