In the same boat! I’ve picked up a couple from M&S and Paperchase, but nothing really taking my fancy.

I feel like I’ve exhausted John Lewis, Cox and Cox, Petersham Nurseries and Anthropologie, so looking for more ideas!

GreyGardens88 · 24/11/2018 10:18

Home Sense and some from Clas Ohlsen

scrappydappydoo · 24/11/2018 10:22

What kind of style are you after eg traditional, modern, glittery, quirky, retro tacky???

Boredofthecommute · 24/11/2018 10:31

Not really sure, just want something pretty! Just a bit bored of the usual shops near me (usual high street) and looking for some browsing inspiration!

I’ve purchased a few hand blown glass ornaments from amazon, the range have some pretty ones too... Also matalan and a few from George

I have a very eclectic mix of decorations, nothing matches, there are far too many of them 🤩. I always add a few to my collection every year (whether I need them or not!).

This year I have bought a few of the new Alessi baubles, they are lovely.

Here.

Parker231 · 24/11/2018 10:59

Our tree is wholly decorated with decorations the DC’s made - it’s a lovely memory of their growing up as you can recognise what they were interested in each year by the theme of the decorations they made.

BarbedBloom · 24/11/2018 11:47

A few boxes of red and gold from Next, but we got most from TK Maxx this year as they had some nice stuff in when we went

BarbedBloom · 24/11/2018 11:48

I also got a few lovely ones from Etsy

Boredofthecommute · 24/11/2018 11:55

Those Alessi ones are pretty- different but pretty BUT £20-£30 for ONE? Ouch!

I have some really fancy looking floral stems, butterflies, reindeer, and snowflakes, collected over the last few years from Dobbies, B&M, eBay etc and then have lots of cheap baubles that pad it out. Also have feather boas on my one at home...attached are my shop trees, all done v cheaply, including stuff from the pound shop

Ive got loads of red and white Gisela Graham ones. There's also loads of bizarre ones from her which I'm not interested in!

I got most from eBay last year.

Oldraver · 24/11/2018 12:25

Our local Garden Company does the whole range of Grisela Graham. This year there is a range of Alice in Wonderland baubles. Very very quirky.

We bought the crocodile, DS's choice

theboxofdelights · 24/11/2018 12:31

I know OP, I have been collecting special decorations for a very long time. Always bought one a year but latterly have bought three or four a year. The balloon one is especially lovely.

ALemonyPea · 24/11/2018 12:32

Debenhams have some lovely decorations in, and they're 3 for 2.

CaseStudyResearch · 24/11/2018 12:44

Will check out Gisela Graham.

Failing that, seems like I might have to pop out some kids to make some Grin

babycakes1010 · 24/11/2018 12:46

The range

Boredofthecommute · 24/11/2018 19:15

Thanks for the suggestions, been for a nose today and managed to get some nice glass ones from the M&S outlet. Just a start though! Looked like everyone had ransacked the Christmas aisles earlier!

The Range has an amazing selection

Lovemusic33 · 24/11/2018 20:19

Most of mine come from tkmax, homesense and local garden centre (expensive but I buy a couple each year to add to my collection).

Got my decorations down today and I have way too many.

Curious2468 · 24/11/2018 21:58

Paperchase have cute ones on 3 for 2

MaidenMotherCrone · 24/11/2018 22:02

Iceland. I bought some beautiful ones last week. There’s a Christmas Shop in Reykjavík and I couldn’t help myself. I bought decorations as souvenirs for friends too.

Quickerthanavicar · 24/11/2018 22:18

UNICEF do nice wooden ones.

MarklahMarklah · 24/11/2018 22:26

I get mine from all over the place. We have a garden centre quite nearby that carries a good range of decorations on different themes. That said, I tend to buy in the post-Christmas sales for the following year.

MissMarplesKnitting · 24/11/2018 22:28

The Range
Garden centres (independent) eg Bents.
Wilko for a few bits too.
