Help please. Am in need of some new decs for the tree this year and need some inspiration! Where did you get/do you get your baubles from?

I've done the same and had a complete re do of the whole lot (birthday present to self). New tree too. Decorations and accessories from M & S, a few from paperchase and Fenwicks and a glass robot from peacocks of all places. Candles and diffusers from next and woodwick. M & S will be reducing there decs in few weeks, can't remember when but it was on Martin Lewis one night this week.

Close to the trunk we have loads of plainish gold baubles to add depth (loads of lights - softish white of course). Nearer the ends of the branches are the baubles collected over years - dh has a thing about buying the Swarowski star (came from working in E Europe I think), glass baubles from White Co, gifts from friends in Scandi countries, local independent shops, a couple from NY trips - Tiffany glass ornaments as well as the usual suppliers. Some we've had for well over 20 years.

A couple of years ago I got two 40 bauble boxes for 10p each, that wasn’t even after Christmas.

I have redecorated and changed all of my decorations now (the old ones will either get given away on Facebook or on DD’s tree) and all of my new decorations are from Homebase. They had some beautiful ones in there.

Like somebody else further up, I buy just one or two new decorations every year, often from places we have visited. Our tree is very eclectic, but full of memories of places and people. Some of ours are coming up to 40 years old.

I really rate George/Asda for tree decs. Several different themes to choose from.
I've also seen online that Poundland do some lovely looking onion shaped ones this year, plus quirky kitchy ice cream and burger shaped ones, but I've yet so see them irl.

P.S: Yes I think Homebase can have some gems too Bumbumtaloo.

Flying Tiger, as it's become, has good cheap baubles. Don't know if it's online though

Paperchase has fab quirky ones, as does Accessorize, asda as well.

Like a few PP, we tend to buy a decoration from each trip we go on, it's nice to be reminded of our holidays!
