@Reastie is obviously busy getting her sprouts on, so I've set up a new thread just to keep us moving.

Previous thread here with Reastie's usual helpful posts.

Remember everyone, it's only a bargain if you need it and check it hasn't been cheaper before/isn't cheaper somewhere else! Happy Thanksgiving Xmas Wink

Does anyone know if John Lewis usually do money off all orders for Black Friday? Have an order but will wait until Black Friday if I’ll get a discount

HoneyDragon · 22/11/2018 14:40

Reastie..... I think the best term is John Lewis aggressively price match usually. It’s the one time of the year they try and match online only retailers.

And they have a few promotions if their own.

HoneyDragon · 22/11/2018 14:40

*of their own

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 22/11/2018 14:40

@Socraticcat thank you. I completely missed that 😫

@Aworldofmyown** Great all ordered. I went for the same two as you. Just because I've got to share that wonkey donkey story with DH when I give it to ds4

Sky store has some dvds reduced as well for anyone looking.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 22/11/2018 14:52

Lisa angel doing different sale items every day. Today there is a big metal light up star thing- last year it was teen dd's fave present (after the light box, also found thanks to these threads) and she still uses it every night. It's prettier this year too, and 13 euro with free delivery. Picked up some half moon earrings for 4 euro as well.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 22/11/2018 14:53

Elphaba17 · 22/11/2018 15:01

Maranello that's great news, so glad you managed to get one.

imsorryiasked · 22/11/2018 15:01

@svengoren10 just cancel the direct debit once the initial payment has been taken.

GruffaloStick · 22/11/2018 15:14

Adidas site has 30% off all items inc sale. Free delivery too. Just got a pair for DD for £11

Jammiebammie · 22/11/2018 15:20

Make up lovers, cult beauty has money off codes (see pic) Im trying to justify the bigger spend as dd wants the Morphe masters brush set, but I’m hoping Morphe themselves do a Black Friday deal, I just dont know Blush

Debenhams beauty sales are fab, I got dd 2 the Christmas tree too faced gift at 30% off and the Mac pretty things gifts sets are 10% off too (for the 10 piece and 4 piece lipstick sets as the minis are a tenner usually on their own.

I just placed an order at JD too as there is 20% student discount.

@steppemum the mark hill pick and mix wand that I linked to upthread looks a good curling wand as you can choose your own attachments. It starts off with the wand (static £14.99, or adjustable £24.99) and then you add the various ends (wicked waver, corkscrew, elliptic curler etc) at £14.99-19.99 each. The offer at the moment is if you add any 5 (e.g the adjustable wand and 4 heads, usually costing £85+) then it is only £50, plus if you can find anything else you need at around £10- then boots are giving £10 advantage card points out over online orders of £60. Which you could put towards the mark hill hardryer (not sponsored, I promise)
I have the mark hill hairdryer and I love it, plus they look on trend for any ‘hip and happening’ youngsters (turning thirty in three weeks and feeling every minute of it 😂)

TheOnlyPink · 22/11/2018 15:37

Aw, sorry about the M&S code not being valid in the UK, I'm in Ireland, we never get anything good so just assumed it was a generic code and it says to share with family and friends! Blush

Reastie · 22/11/2018 16:00

Honey I thought as much but was living in hope

Prizepudding · 22/11/2018 16:01

Jammie, I got an email from Morphe saying they have 25% off with code GIFTPARTAY from 5pm today

Mary1935 · 22/11/2018 16:12

Svengoren10 yes you just cancel the subscription. I mark it on my calendar so I don’t forget. You can do it next month as they will have taken out the £5.

Drummingisfun · 22/11/2018 16:19

@Silkieandmoonface

If you happen to be anywhere near the west country the Thatchers farm near Churchill has a decent variety of their ciders available, mostly much better than the standard thatchers gold that is sold in pubs. Usually they have single varietal ones lile coxes and dabinett.
It's about 15 mins drive from j21 of the m5.

tentative3 · 22/11/2018 16:20

Does anyone have any suggestions for a 1 year old and a 4 year old? Really these are just token gifts and need to be fairly small/light if possible. Possibly a book or a small toy? I think pyjamas are over budget from everywhere I've seen.

Drummingisfun · 22/11/2018 16:21

Actually you can order a mixed case online now

RJnomore1 · 22/11/2018 16:24

I'm currently sitting on my hands trying not to buy the Bazaar beauty box from Heart magazines.

It's £100 but it's got 14 full size products and it's usually £200 and its worth £560...

RemyRelax · 22/11/2018 16:31

@TheGrandHighWitch Yea I might need to laminate some. Bit of a faff tho. I’ve been googling but not come across anyway. Thank you anyway Smile

Maranello · 22/11/2018 16:57

@thaegumathteth @HoneyDragon that'll teach us all for being so organised with our pre-orders Wink

Just spotted Whistles has 30% off and free delivery today

Maranello · 22/11/2018 17:00

Can't remember who was looking for sunglasses but Whistles has this pair at £29 down from £85

trilbydoll · 22/11/2018 17:07

Apologies if it's already been mentioned but Morrisons have toys on BOGOF for Black Friday. Our local store has big £20-£30 Playmobil / Disney type things, although I have no idea if you'd ever need to pay full price for any of them elsewhere.
