Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@ihopeyousteponalegopiece

I use the "this works" pillow spray. I've always found it cheaper to buy from an online beauty place. I think I ordered from feel unique or something like that last time.
Depends a bit what size you are after though.

Anyone looking for tablets? The samsung tab a, 32GB is on offer at currys. £149 with a case and antivirus. Tablet is £159 in most places and the case is a decent one usually around £25 so I'm happy.

Won't end up using the antivirus ourselves, but was advised by the shop assistant to stick in on ebay as apparently they sell well.

Was looking for a deal on a kenwood chef blender, didn't want to spend much as I suspect it may end up in the back of a cupboard. However, got one from freecyle, hard to beat free Grin

Do you think we are expecting any bigger deals generally on Friday or is Black Friday a week long situation now?

fairiesandelves · 21/11/2018 10:07

Yes msmiawallsce they sold out quick last year. I got two. And I saw them on eBay later that day at ridiculous prices !
Anyone got an Iceland orang utan? They're £5 and lovely quality and great cause. Got one for my DGS and again they're on eBay now for £22!!

Re..Wilkinson sword. You don't have to get 5 (I thought you did and glad I did anyway) but you can just buy 1 (max 5) discount is automatic.

FrederickCreeding · 21/11/2018 10:16

I'm so frustrated with myself. I thought I'd bought the Scotland Yard game yesterday, but it turns out I'd only put it in my Amazon basket and I didn't actually check it out. It's now gone up to £20...

Aldi has their ski sale starting on Sunday. The thermals etc are brilliant for any cold weather / outdoor activities. My
dc wore theirs loads last year, not just for skiing. The quality seems really good too.

mamabluestar · 21/11/2018 10:19

I went to check out m&s jumper offer at the original factory shop. 2 for £10. Mostly large and XL sizes. Various colours. But, the labels are cut out so not a great gift.

makingmiracles · 21/11/2018 10:44

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 21/11/2018 10:45

The pink scruf-a-luv is down to £16 on Debenhams.

ReindeerPoop · 21/11/2018 10:51

Can anyone recommend some nice (not Nanna 👵🏻 style) boot slippers with a rubber sole?

MrsCrimbo74 · 21/11/2018 10:56

Ollie & Nic have got 50% at the moment, plus you can get an extra 10% off if you are a new customer

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2018 10:58

I’m losing it with Amazon. I usually spend a bomb with them this week but I’m so posses if with them.
Within an hour I got one email about dds advent calendar saying it’s outvofvstock and another saying it will be with me on Monday!

I’ve sent screen shots. I was really hoping they’d reduce the occulus rift to a more affordable price on Friday so we could possibly justify buying it outright for ds rather than giving him money toward it. But tbh; I don’t trust as far as I can throw them at present.

nicky2512 · 21/11/2018 11:00

Just checking again - does anyone have any idea about a cheaper I phone 7 plus or do I just have to grit my teeth and pay the full amount!!

I would also really love a 10 pound off 30 for Boden if there is one spare! I want to buy my mum a top.

Thank you.

RemyRelax · 21/11/2018 11:02

@ReindeerPoop Next usually have some nice ones in. I’ve had a few from there and they wash really well too.

totallyLosingIt · 21/11/2018 11:08

Desperately hoping that Emma Bridgewater will do a discount on the non-personalised mugs this week. Not sure if their current 'Black Friday deals' are the best we can hope for Sad

Koko12 · 21/11/2018 11:20

wellfuckme 30% off at ghd website

NerosFiddle · 21/11/2018 11:27

Nicky unless you go for a refurbished one in somewhere like CEX

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2018 11:28

Nicky what’s the cheapest you’ve found so far?

Personally I think the Very offer on the IPhone 8 at £599 and then £100 credit back is an excellent deal .... and obviously will be a longer term investment in term of software updates.

It really does depend on your budget though.
