Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Any Matalan codes about?

Andanotherhehe · 18/11/2018 08:43

Fitbit charge 2 is currently £79.99 on Amazon which seems a good price.

The Fortnite freeze thing is indeed just an add on to the game. Its only a code you enter online packaged up in a game disc box. What a waste of plastic! I was really pissed off with the packaging waste when I picked up the pre-order. Should just be a card with a scratch panel like a giftcard.

Rosie2000 · 18/11/2018 08:43

I went into Morrisons yesterday and saw they had BOGOF on toys. They had some Playmobil and you get kids stuff, small store though so might be more selection elsewhere.

Rosie2000 · 18/11/2018 08:43

*younger kids

woodwaj · 18/11/2018 08:57

If anyone is looking for tomy or Fisher price preschool toys take a look at today's Amazon lightening deals. There's some great reductions!

inepon · 18/11/2018 09:01

I'm looking for the QuietComfort 35 II headphones - does anyone know if the current £40 off on Amazon is a good deal or not?

Koko12 · 18/11/2018 09:03

justmemrsb · 18/11/2018 09:05

@Rosie2000 I have some matalan codes that have come through the post (£5 off £25 etc).. I'm not sure if they have to match my card though, you're welcome to try them if you want to pm me

BrightonBB · 18/11/2018 09:06

Missed the Bushbabies on Amazon - please advise if cheap anywhere else. Thank you.

BrightonBB · 18/11/2018 09:08

How Winston Delivered Christmas - An advent story in 24 chapters - bought on Hive as mentioned by previous poster ( cheaper than Amazon). Arrived today and really lovely book -looking forward to starting it. Thank you.

PinkDaydreams · 18/11/2018 09:18

Has anyone seen any Venus fly traps anywhere please? Thank you! Seen a lot on amazon but would rather buy from a shop.

Led watch people

Can anybody who ordered one of the 40P LED watches from Claire's on last thread help me out please?

Collected mine yesterday and i can't get it to turn on. Instructions tell me to press a 'B' button but I cannot see a single button on this watch.

Is everybody else's working okay? Might try a new battery in it later.

Not really happy with my Claire's order tbh. Bought a unicorn hairbrush too at £7 that has come with some of the bristles missing so that'll be getting returned.

TalkingOrmer · 18/11/2018 09:24

Was dreaming about amazon last last night, think i need a break from shopping!

AtSea1979 · 18/11/2018 10:11

WHSmith have £5 off a £20 spend with code BLACK18 - there’s lots of stuff on sale already so it seems like a really good deal.

MessyMummy15 · 18/11/2018 10:16

Has anyone seen an ice crusher that does crushed and fine ice?

carrietwick · 18/11/2018 10:37

I bought a few of the unicorn watches from Claire’s, I turned it on by pressing the bottom of the watch face. No idea how to programme it yet I just quickly checked they worked.

loveliesbleeding1 · 18/11/2018 10:39

sweetpeapods and 1sttimemamma
I can pm you both an m and s code but they need to be used by tomorrow.

Gentlygently · 18/11/2018 11:09

I am after Harry Potter pyjamas, prob age 11/12/13 (DS is 155cm). Tesco have some in but on inspection they looked v poor quality.

He generally only wears the bottoms so I really want some that have the pattern on the bottom.

They had some adult hogwarts pyjama bottoms in Tesco that looked great, but my tesco didn't have a small or xs size.

Is there anywhere else that people could recommend? Are character.com ones reasonable quality?
