Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

I had my Nectar card cloned and all my points redeemed recently. I have a new account and all the points credited back into it but they did tell me I needed to visit the store I intend to redeem at before I can actually use them.

Not sure of candle prices these days but looks like a good set?

She has the camera, turntable not her thing, she has multiple trainers, more make up than me ... will look into an echo but she already has a Bluetooth speaker?

@TittyBoneGhoul we always get a nice Christmas decoration for teachers - always well received. Sometimes get them in the sales, sometimes take the DC out to choose a nice bauble for each teacher.

@polkapjs you can double up from £5 upwards so you will be fine!

To all doing the double up its different to other years you dont have to chose a department for each amount anymore. You can just double your amount then spend them on any of the listed areas so alot easier than previous years x

Tittyboneghoul - This year I got mugs in the Magpie sale. I do like the idea of the Christmas decorations though.

How do you present baubles? Just find a gift box? I’m sure she has lots of mugs on her desk so might avoid. I’m always curious as to what the other parents have wrapped!

dancemom dd was 15 last Christmas, she will be 16 this (birthday is on Christmas Day, so have to think of twice as many ideas for presents!)

Last year we bought her a young drivers experience through Buyagift (they have lots of discounts at this time of year) which she loved, and has asked for again this year. We also get her a subscription to Heat magazine this is good as it comes weekly through they year, so makes up a bit for having all presents on one day of the year!)

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the Barbie Dream Camper is down to £58.13 on Amazon. Great saving already but I also had the top up £40 get £5 deal so ended up getting it for £53.13 which I am very pleased with! Thought about hanging on until black Friday but I think if it did drop again it wouldn't go much lower (I hope!) so snapped it up.

traceybond you can redeem your nectar points in-store from today until Sunday I think. I will be doing mine instore later this week.

I'm pretty sure yesterday was the last day you could double your points up in store for vouchers ladies, and this week is only for spending vouchers where you have done that.

Just got this LED unicorn watch from Claire's for 40p!

You can double up in-store until 18 Nov, which is when it ends, I think. I've attached the 'rules'. I did think £200 was the maximum, but clearly it's not! Also attached is what you can spend them on.

And...you can get 100 bonus points per swipe with an extra 500 if you do 10 swipes (max 2 per week) before 16 Dec. Go to the app or your account online to load to your card.

@TittyBoneGhoul, I give booze! 😂 I figure they need it after dealing with 30 small children all day, every day.

This Christmas I'm doing a gift bag for the class (so teacher and TAs) with M&S biscuits (bought on two for one), non-alcoholic fizz (so they can have it at lunchtime, paid for with Nectar points) and some homemade mince pies. Then a separate bottle of booze for the teacher (bought with my double up vouchers!).

I try to maximise my budget by using BOGOFs and loyalty points!
