Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Youreadthebabybooks Carcassonne is good, ds enjoyed it from a similar age.
Or have a look on the Happy Puzzle Company website they have lots of strategy games.

Mrsfussypants1 · 16/11/2018 06:43

Yeknom, thank you for m&s code Smile

imsorryiasked · 16/11/2018 06:44

Cath Kidston Christmas Advent Calendar down to £23.99 from £40 on Amazon deals.

Yeknom · 16/11/2018 06:44

You're welcome Mrsfussypants1!!!!

Yeknom · 16/11/2018 06:55

Sorry me again!

Does anyone know where I could find a nice 'snuggle' blanket? My 3 year old has finally decided she likes to curl up and "chillax" on the sofa. Doesn't have to be anything special, she'd probably like a pink Disney one. We don't usually buy character clothes etc and I don't know where to start?

Also back to my earlier question is the echo likely to go cheaper than £55. I think that might be better than the dot for my husband??

RemyRelax · 16/11/2018 06:56

Do people think that amazon will reduce the price of the Fire 8 or 10 kids editions tablets? Wondering whether to order the 7 edition as it’s reduced to £59.99 and has good reviews. Or wait and see if the 8 and/or 10 is reduced.

imsorryiasked · 16/11/2018 07:06

I need to buy an iPad 9.7" asap for an elderly relative - if anyone sees any deals please let me know.

Huffabook · 16/11/2018 07:10

Amazon dots

Reastiepeace · 16/11/2018 07:11

What are the difference between the two dots above? I’m going to get one I think but not sure if the more expensive one is worth the extra £5

Finally managed to get to tescos, loads of G&B chocolates in my local! Was very restrained and just got one and I don't need any. Probably a good present for MIL though!

Duckswaddle · 16/11/2018 07:14

@Lurleene thank you

RemyRelax · 16/11/2018 07:18

@Reastiepeace it is worth buying the 3rd generation with only a fiver more. It has has a bigger speaker and much better sound quality. We have a 2nd generation and considering upgrading and buying the 3rd gen.

Liesmyparentstoldme · 16/11/2018 07:25

@RemyRelax I'm wondering the same thing! I'm hoping the 8 is going to be reduced.

RemyRelax · 16/11/2018 07:29

@Liesmyparentstoldme I hope so too. But worried about waiting and then the 8 isn’t reduced. But will have missed out on the 7! Hopefully someone can remember if Amazon reduced all the generations last year Smile

Lovemusic33 · 16/11/2018 07:49

I really want the Lego technics car on Amazon deals but can’t afford to buy anything this week as my car decided to break yesterday and I’m expecting a huge bill. The Lego is a great deal as is the roller coaster which I bought for dd a few weeks ago at almost full price 😭

Reastiepeace · 16/11/2018 07:51

Thank you remy

Cards against humanity down on amazon to £18.

flooredbored · 16/11/2018 07:58

I cant remember who was after a Barbie dreamhouse, this is another Barbie House reduced to £50 on amazon.

Helpmeltb · 16/11/2018 08:03

FFS, I've had to re-buy my echo dot and arrange to return the one I bought 3 days ago because Amazon customer service won't just refund the difference.

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 16/11/2018 08:06

I'd like to buy all three of my kids some neutral bedding for Christmas- not character. Would anyone suggest nice quality, well priced bedding please

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 16/11/2018 08:16

@Smoke oh but you do!

SpecialK24 · 16/11/2018 08:24

rubyred38 Is it better to get the kids fire or the adults with kids cases?

chaosisaladder · 16/11/2018 08:26

@remyrelax amazon did reduce all generations last year :) the 8 was reduced to £99 a couple of weeks ago, but was reduced last year during the Black Friday deals to £89. You could always buy the 7 and return it. All the past price tracking info is on camelcamelcamel. Hope that is helpful!

PinkDaydreams · 16/11/2018 08:31

Morning all!
Can anyone recommend any English breakfast teabags? Before anyone suggests Yorkshire or pg tips etc, I’m after something a bit fancier Grin I’ve seen teapigs but wondering if anyone else can recommend any?! Thanks all!

thaegumathteth · 16/11/2018 08:32

With the echo dot (3rd gen) can the kids use a Bluetooth speaker to improve the sound? Or Bluetooth headphones to listen in bed? Or indeed both (at different times obv!)

Thanks for helping me I swear I do have brain cells but technology evades me
